This is a quite well constructed and very well organised tour which provides a very good glimpse of green, fertile northern Tunisia, away from the classic images of desert and southern beaches. Transport and transfers all worked as promised and information flow from Tunisie Voyages was excellent. The choice of hotels, though, disappointed me. They were all classic package tour “tourist traps”, isolated from local communities and of relatively low amenity. None provided a bottle of water, and two of them didn’t even provide a glass! Meals were the usual uninspiring buffet. There was zero chance of interaction with the local community, which I think greatly detracted from what could otherwise be a good value experience. The same applied to programmed lunch stops.Show more
