- Day 1
Arrival in Taipei
You'll land at Taoyuan International Airport and get picked up by private car for the drive to your hotel. After settling in, the rest of the day is yours to relax or wander around Taipei at whatever pace feels right.

- Day 2
Taipei to Sun Moon Lake
After breakfast, head out from Taipei toward Sun Moon Lake National Scenic Area, Taiwan's largest freshwater lake. The panoramic bus tour takes you to Ita Thao Village, Ci'en Pagoda, Xuanzang Temple, and Wenwu Temple. Along the way you'll learn about the lake's geography, the Thao indigenous culture, and the Buddhist and Taoist heritage. You'll stay overnight at a hotel with lake views or in Taichung city center.

Sun Moon Lake to Tainan to Kaohsiung
Starting after breakfast, travel south to Tainan, Taiwan's oldest city. Check out Fort Zeelandia, a historic Dutch-era fortress, then walk through Anping Old Street with its centuries-old buildings and local food specialties. From there, continue on to Kaohsiung and visit Fo Guang Shan Monastery, one of Taiwan's most important Buddhist complexes. You'll see the 36-meter Golden Buddha, the tallest in Southeast Asia, and have time to speak with a monk about Buddhism. Overnight in downtown Kaohsiung.

- Day 4
Kaohsiung to Kenting National Park to Zhiben
After breakfast, head south to Kenting National Park, Taiwan's first national park. During the day you'll see coastal landmarks including Maopitou rock formation, Chuanfan Rock, Eluanpi Lighthouse from the Qing era, and Longpan Park with its coral limestone plateau and Pacific Ocean views. Later, travel along the scenic South Link Highway to Zhiben and check into a hot spring resort. You can spend the evening relaxing in carbonated springs known for helping circulation and easing fatigue.

Zhiben to East Coast to Yilan
Following breakfast, explore Taiwan's east coast, the island's last unspoiled wilderness. Visit Xiaoyehliu with its unique sea and wind-eroded rock formations, then Sanxiantai with its islands and coral reefs connected by bridge, and Shitiping with its marine terraces and geological formations. By late afternoon, board a scenic train ride from Hualien to Yilan, taking in panoramic views as you approach your next destination.

- Day 6
Yilan to Taipei
On your final day after breakfast, your guide takes you through two cultural and food experiences. Start at King Car Kavalan Whisky Distillery, famous for exceptional flavors made with pure mountain waters. Take a tour learning how whisky ages in oak barrels. Next, explore the National Center for Traditional Arts, a cultural park with traditional buildings, exhibits, workshops, and live performances like puppet shows and pottery classes. Finish with a bus transfer back to Taipei to your hotel or designated stop.

Departure
Begin with Taipei morning highlights. Visit Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall and see the Presidential Office Building, then watch the Changing of the Guard ceremony at Martyrs' Shrine. Head to the National Palace Museum to see nearly 700,000 pieces of Chinese art and artifacts from over 8,000 years of history. After that, you have free time until checkout. Your private car will drive you to the airport for your return flight, ending your Taiwan trip.
