Are there any dates in April where this tour is already running that I can join so that I do not have to do a solo/private tour?

Unfortunately we do not have a confirm tour departure that you can join in April. If you wish you can book with a single supplement, which guarantees the departure even for 1 participant.

Are we expected to arrive a day before the tour starts? On day 1, the tour starts at 8 a.m. What time does the tour finishes on the last day? What time should we book our flights for departure? Airport transfers are not included.

It would be best if you arrive the day before as the tour will begin at 8am or 9am on Day 1. On the final day, you can expect to finish by approximately 1pm so you may book flights that evening to be safe. We do not provide airport transfers unfortunately however we recommend you arrange this with the pre tour hotel in Pristina.

We have booked the KOSOVO 7 DAY TOUR for next year and Itinerary shows that we go to Mitrovica on day 6, and overnight there. This is not shown on the map you have on the same site. Can you please confirm that we do go to Mitrovica. I hope that the map is out of date, because we really want to go to Mitrovica, as per day by day ITINERARY.

Is it possible to get pick up at the airport and start tour same date or we should arrive one day in advance or start tour on 5/30

We can come and pick you up at the airport and start the tour on the same day. There is only 20€ extra charge for airport pick up.

Will i be assisted in getting a rapid test to fly back to USA?

What is the turn around time to get the result of a Rapid Antigen Test? This is so I can coordinate it with my flight, if I need to stay an extra day after the tour or not.

Earlier this month, I did the 7 day tour of Kosovo with Choose Balkans and I honestly could not have been more pleased. Let me begin with when I first contacted Choose Balkans. Beginning in March when I first reached out about the tour until June 11 when I returned to the United States, my main point of contact, Sirma, was super responsive. Sirma (1) promptly answered any and all questions that I had; (2) clearly communicated to me who my tour guide would be and where/when they would meet me; (3) periodically checked-in with me during the trip to make sure everything was going smoothly; and (4) followed up with me after the trip to make sure it met my expectations. I honestly cannot say enough kind things about Sirma and how simple and easy she made the entire process and how her responsiveness prevented any feelings of concern from ever surfacing. With respect to the tour itself, my tour guide Arber was absolutely fantastic. As a local, he was able to answer all my questions about the various locations we visited, the people, the culture and the country. His passion for Kosovo was readily apparent in all our interactions. I would specifically recommend him as a guide to my friends and family because I have no doubt they would have the same top notch experience that I did with him. All of the accommodations that were selected for me were perfect. Comfortable rooms, nice bathrooms, good breakfasts, and responsive staff at the front desk. The sites that we visited as part of the 7 day tour pretty much ticked every box I think I could ask for. We had the opportunity to see beautiful churches/monasteries and mosques. There were many opportunities to see and experience the gorgeous outdoors. I had many chances to glimpse Kosovo's past (both distant and more recent) through the museums and other cultural attractions we visited. Overall it was an immersive experience that left me with a better understanding of the country, its people, and its history. As an Albanian American I had certain expectations going into this trip as to what I would see, taste, hear, and experience. I left feeling prouder than I could ever imagine of my cultural heritage and that is because of the tour that Sirma put together for me and that Arber took me on. Prizren is a vey interesting medieval town with a lot of Churches and Mosques next to each other. People are very friendly and always ready to interact with you. Then searching around we came across this 7 days tour that had everything about Kosovo. We were a bit doubtful about this tour as it didn’t have many reviews, however, we checked the company “choose balkans” and they were highly reliable on others tours so we went for it and we did good. Their tour guide Armando came and picked us up from our hotel in Pristina. We got to meet a great couple from Sydney. Kosovo is a beautiful country that is full of history, and beautiful nature. Must do things, Rugova Valley, Prizren, Decani Monastery. Must try foods, raki (strong alcoholic drink), qyfte, burek, maze and fli.Show more
