    Eight of us are interested in a 7-9 day tour of Thailand in mid to late February but read that February is the burning season and smoke can be expected in Chiang Mai and even Bangkok. What has been your experience?

      Mid to late February is generally a great time to visit Thailand, with warm temperatures and relatively little rain. However, you are correct that the annual burning season can begin around this time, particularly in Northern Thailand. And normally it happens in Chiang Mai, Bangkok is much less affected by the northern burning season. So you can consider to change your travel date to another month, maybe can consider Mid of April or skip Chiang Mai to avoid burning season.

      During this package, you will join the group tours on Day 4 and Day 5. The group tour is NOT that you share with the same group from the beginning till the end. Most of our tour is a partial group tour in which you will have a group tour for excursion at each place, for airport pick up and accommodation are private. It's based on the English-speaking guide.

      The first day of the tour is simply your arrival day and there's no specific itinerary. However, if you're worried about your flight, you can choose to arrive in Bangkok a day earlier, which will also give you more time to rest before starting the tour.

      The local payment covers airfares during the trip, the English-speaking guide fee, and some other local fees for a wholesome experience which you pay us directly by credit card or cash on the first day.

On days with flights, there will be no guide, only a driver to pick you up (they don't speak English), and on free days there will be no guide.       - 2 other members (Chiang Mai - Phuket & Double room): USD 1,210 (Upfront Payment) + USD 270 (Local Payment) = USD 1,480/person.
