Depending on the selected lodge, we offer transportation from Cuiaba. The transportation time depends on which lodge you will be in, from Campo Grande there is no limit for pickups and drop-off transfers but lodges have open and closed doors times. In general, it takes from Campo Grande around 3 hours to arrive at the lodge. We do offer 3-day-2 night tours and we always recommend the Xaraes lodge in Pantanal.

What time is the pickup from Campo Grande to the Pantanal? Or can we customize pickup time?

As the transfers to and from the lodge are in private, there are no specific times for the pick-up and drop-off. We recommend arriving around noon and leaving no later than 19 hs.

We had an amazing time once we got there- but we were really unprepared for the journey to get to the Pantanal. We were greeted at the airport by our driver who informed us that we had a 4.5 hour ride then we were transferred to a truck to take us another 45 minutes on a bumpy dirt road and then a 45 minute boat ride in the pitch black. Had we been ready for that- no problem- but we were given no warning and we were not dressed for it. We also would have booked flights accordingly so we would have to arrive at midnight. We actually changed our return flights because we didn’t want to go through the river again in the dark. Once we arrived we had the best time and saw amazing wildlife and farm animals. We were well looked after and had delicious home cooked meals and an excellent tour guide.Show more

  The pousada that we recommend you to stay in is called Xaraes which offers horseback riding and vegetarian options. Transfers are offered in private so they can be accommodated with most flights arriving in Campo Grande. We can add one extra day. The airport you need to arrive is called Campo Grande. The Chapada Diamantina is an incredible place to visit! Unfortunately, our prices are tight and a discount is not possible.
