- Day 1
Bujumbura
You'll get picked up early from the airport or your accommodation in Bujumbura. From there, head out on a boat cruise at Rusizi National Park where you can spot birds, crocodiles, and hippos along the water. Next, you'll check out the Teza Tea Plantation in Muramvya's hills, and after that, walk through Kibira National Park with chances to hike, trek, and photograph. It's a full day of natural scenery and wildlife.

Burundi
Start the morning at Ku Mahoro hot springs in Kibira National Park and soak in the warm therapeutic waters to relax. Later, head north to see Rwegura Dam, a hydroelectric station with great panoramic views of the area. By evening, you'll reach Bird's Lake (Rwihinda Lake) in Kirundo Province for birdwatching and a boat trip to see different birdlife and aquatic creatures.

Gitega
This morning, you'll go to the Intore community in Kirundo Province to see traditional warrior dances that celebrate strength and unity. Then head to Gishora Drum Sanctuary in Gitega Province to watch skilled drummers perform and learn about Burundi's royal drum history. After lunch, finish at Gitega National Museum where you can explore ethnographic and historical artifacts from the Burundian monarchy.

- Day 4
Rutana
You'll travel to Karera Falls in Rutana, a natural site spanning 142 hectares with five branches dropping over three levels. Cross a hanging bridge for a thrilling view of the falls, or walk the hiking trails to find hidden viewpoints. After that, visit the source of the Nile River in Rutovu commune, Bururi Province, the spot discovered in 1934 as Africa's longest river's origin.

Bururi

You'll spend the afternoon relaxing at Mawimbi Beach on Lake Tanganyika's shore, where you can catch the lake breeze and watch the sunset.
