The Tour is available on both ways Private and Group. If we do not get a group in that case we run the tour on Private basis as well. You and your wife will have your own air-conditioned vehicle with a dedicated English-speaking driver, ensuring comfort and flexibility throughout the journey.

Is it safe for a female solo traveler to travel by herself from Sumatra to Yogyakarta?

Most of the guest prefers to stay in single room. Very few guest request for room share.

Is this a group tour available in March April this year? You cover everything I want to see in affordable hotels apart from Kathmandu and Chitwan (which I can travel to on my own afterwards)

A big thank you to the team at WTX, they put together a wonderful tour for us. My wife and I enjoyed immensely the forts, palaces and temples included on the tour. All entrance fees had to be paid by us but probably totalled around AUD $200 each. The local guides at each historical site or town were very knowledgeable and provided good commentary on the history of the site or town. The hotels were generally of a good standard but a little out of town. This didn't matter a great deal as by the time we checked in it was usually getting late anyway. The food pricing was similar to what you would find in a good restaurant outside the hotel. Most hotel restaurants don't open until 7.00pm anyway. We had 4 drivers in total as we were in sedan vehicles. All vehicles were in good condition and clean. Rakesh drove us for 13 days around Rajasthan in his KIA which was more than large enough for my wife and I. The car was always immaculate and he could not do enough to assist us and make the long journey through Rajasthan comfortable. The team at WTX were always contactable and responded quickly to any issues that we had. As they say, you get what you pay for and we think we got good value for our money. We highly recommend WTX and will more than likely book through them again when we return to this amazing country.Show more

Few months back we completed an unforgettable tour covering Rajasthan, Varanasi, and Khajuraho, and while the hot weather was certainly a challenge. Thanks to the impeccable planning and support from our travel agent , WTX team. Each destination had its own unique charm from the royal palaces of Rajasthan to the sacred ghats of Varanasi and the intricate temples of Khajuraho. Despite the heat, we were able to enjoy every moment, thanks to the team's attention to our comfort and well-being. Witnessing the Tiger during our safari was an awe-inspiring experience, and for us, that moment truly marked the success of our entire trip. It made enduring the tour more than worth it! Overall the tour was good. We packed a lot into our days. Heavy culture focus which means you do see many palaces and temples, would be good to also include some tours of things like farming ventures, marble quarry, brick works, or give those options. Would be good to have had a couple of half day rest days. On arrival it would be good to receive a welcome pack that includes things like tipping- what's expected and some examples, culture etiquette, when to remove shoes, simple greetings or sayings, which monuments require passports. Accomodation highly variable, 3 stars is really basic ( standards of cleaning very variable) accomodation so we upgraded to 4 stars. Given the style of travel the driver is very important, ours was excellent. We were a bit surprised to have a few changes to our itinerary once we landed, eg we had 3 train journeys in 3 days. Bit more time in Varanasi would have been good. All in all a good way to start a trip to India.Show more
