What is the best time of year to visit for ocean activities?

    Tour Details
    • GlobusOperatorWritten July 2025

On Day 5 of the tour, you will visit the Great Barrier Reef. Depending on the weather will determine the amount of time on the Reef and the activities you will be able to participate. You will be able to speak with the Tour Director to see if you will be able to snorkel while there.

      Darren

      TravelerWritten July 2025

I was actually inquiring about a scuba option. I understand that snorkeling is an included option.

    • GlobusOperatorWritten July 2025

The best time to visit the Australian beaches is during the spring months (September-November) and the autumn months (March-May). You can speak with the Tour Director to see if any of the local companies offer a scuba diving excursion.

    Asked on April 4th, 2022

I am interested in this tour. I would like the additional part to the Outback, but I see that that tour is already sold out. Are you able to assist us in adding on a few days to the end of this tour for us to get to the Outback on our own?

What would be the price per person for the July 12 tour? And, how does deposit and payment work?

    • D

      Denise

      TravelerWritten April 2022

Is that tour available for July 20, 2022 or July 20, 2023? I am looking for June or July 2023. If the Great Sights of Australia Tour with the Outback is available for June 2023, are you able to help me set up an extension that my family and I could go on, but is not part of the tour?

    • GlobusOperatorWritten April 2022

We have this tour with the Outback planned for 2023, however it's not open for reservations yet. I see we're planning on a June 14, 2023 and a July 19, 2023 departure. I'm unsure when exactly this tour will be open for new reservations in 2023, but I expect in early fall we will be able to book you and your family.
