    Can you tell me how big is the group and what sort of bikes and pedal styles are you providing?

      We have ten-twelve people in these groups. We use cross-terrain mountain bikes with semi-slick tires - safe and comfortable off-road. We most commonly use the Specialized RollElite an excellent lightweight, cross-terrain touring bike with great flexibility. You're also welcome to bring your own bike and we will help you assemble it at the start of the trip. All bikes come supplied with safety vests, rear rack and rack bag, a water bottle cage, flat pedals, helmets and water bottles.

    Do you offer e-bike for your trips. I'm capable cyclist but due to back issues I prefer to have a ebike for longer trips

      On this trip, we are unable to offer E-bikes due to the terrain that we cover. We do have an e-bike-specific tour. It's worth noting that on our biking trips, you would be fully vehicle-assisted, so if you did want to stop a bit earlier, you can do as much or as little as you like!

  • Payment information
    • For any tour departing before June 14th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 14th, 2026, a minimum payment of $500 is required to confirm your booking with Active Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 90 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
    • Some departure dates and prices may vary and Active Adventures will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
    • The following cards are accepted for "Active Adventures" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
