  Hotels excellent specially the incredible Amman International it is like ma big boutique hotel. Food service outstanding. Itinerary includes it all , we got surprised by Jordans beauty people food and all in a secure and organized country . Naser is a real guide , very warm and with personality, The guide in Petra Mohamed outstandg. The comunication with the tour operator should be better however we had no problems and we understand some challenges cause of the political situation of the area. We will come back !Show more

  All transport organised by Trip 500 was excellent and arrived on time. The Amman International Hotel was very good. Our room was comfortable and the food was excellent. All staff were friendly and went out of their way to help. The tour itinerary was not quite as advertised on the site. The welcome dinner on day one was a meal in the hotel restaurant. There was no group or welcome. Day three was not as advertised we visited the citadel which was excellent but no exploration of the downtown souk pr the Roman theatre. Jerash was wonderful but lunch taken at the same restaurant as the day before on the visit to Umm Qays. The bus was good and the driver excellent. We did not stay at either of the hotels offered in the brochure at Petra. The hotel we did stay at was fine but it would have been good to have been informed of the change of hotel. Day three Citadel Amman, Jerash and transfer to Petra felt rushed and was very busy. Petra and Wadi Rum were both amazing. Day five we missed out a stop to see the Greek Orthodox Church of St George instead visiting two souvenir sites one for Dead Sea products and one for mosaics. Overall the tour was good but at times felt rushed. It would have been better if the company had communicated to us the changes to the itinerary and accommodation.Show more

  An amazing tour, taking in all the beautiful, breathtaking sites of Jordan. My husband and I and our 2 sons visited the Citadel, Jerash, Petra and Wadi Rum. Fantastic 5* accommodation, and the food was amazing with plenty to choose from. We did horseback through Petra, which was an amazing experience, then on foot we tracked down to the treasury. Tour guide was very knowledgeable, giving an insight to all the history of Jordan. Or stay in Wadi Rum was breathtaking, watching the sunset, Jeep rides through the red dunes and mountains to watch the sunset and then back for dinner, the meat was tender and delicious and cooked underground. What am amazing experience we had, that we will never forget. 🥰Show more

  We booked a 6-day private tour in Jordan for two people, expecting a smooth and flexible experience. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the most disappointing trips (as far as the interface with this company was concerned) we’ve ever had. The people of Jordan were very nice, very pleasant and we enjoyed visiting the sites but the tour company made us feel like prisoners. No Visa Assistance (Despite Assurances) Although the company had promised someone would help us with our visa at the airport, no one showed up. Luckily, we had already bought the Jordan Pass, so we managed on our own. The driver was present at the exit, as promised — but that was about the only thing that went right. Last-Minute Hotel Switch Initially, they confirmed a hotel in Wadi Musa close to Petra. However, in the final itinerary, this was quietly changed to Zaman Hyat, which is 17 km away. This meant we couldn’t enjoy Petra town or do any local shopping in the evenings. Rigid and Over-Charged Itinerary Changes When we wanted to include a short detour to Aqaba (only about 50 km extra), they immediately demanded $50 more. On a private 6-day tour, some flexibility should be normal — but with this company, every small change meant another charge. Driver’s Behaviour & Commission Traps In Aqaba, the driver, Khaled, wouldn’t let us talk directly to any boat operators. He arranged a trip through a “friend” who charged 80 JOD, while we later found out it should have cost only 40 JOD total. To make matters worse, the driver even came along on the boat! It felt exploitative and uncomfortable. Forcing Tourist Traps Over Local Experiences On the route to Madaba and Mount Nebo, Khaled tried to skip the sightseeing and take us straight to the Dead Sea hotel. Only after we complained to Mohannat (the coordinator) did he follow the agreed itinerary. Even then, he took us to “factory shops” where prices were 10x higher than in local markets. Constant Pressure and Hidden Charges The driver repeatedly refused to stop at local markets or malls, only taking us to overpriced tourist stores. Later, Mohannat messaged that if we visited Jerash, Ajloun, and Umm Qais on the same day, we’d be charged another $100. Because of this confusion, we rushed through Jerash and missed major sites like the Temple of Artemis. No Flexibility – Even at the End On the last day, we simply wanted to stop at Rainbow Street for an hour to enjoy local food. Mohannat asked for $35 extra per hour — completely unreasonable for a private tour where flexibility is supposed to be the point. Refund Insult By the final day, we were so frustrated that we refused the airport drop. The company offered just $10 refund, despite saving several hours of the driver’s time — an insult after all the inconvenience. Summary This company operates with dishonesty, inflexibility, and hidden costs at every turn. Our “private tour” felt like being held hostage by a driver more interested in commissions than customer satisfaction.Show more

This was not a downgrade or hidden change, but a complimentary upgrade to ensure greater comfort and quality. As for the visa assistance, because you were holding the Jordan Pass, your entry visa was automatically included in the pass. Under Jordanian regulations, tour companies are not permitted to accompany travelers inside the immigration area once a Jordan Pass is used. Nevertheless, our driver was waiting for you at the arrival hall exit, exactly as promised. Regarding transportation and flexibility, it’s important to mention that our drivers always aim to please and often go beyond their duties to make guests happy including offering small complimentary detours whenever possible. In your case, the driver repeatedly tried to accommodate your wishes; however, many of the “short stops” you requested were actually additional destinations located within a 50 km radius of each main site. At one point, you even requested what you described as a “short stop to Aqaba”, despite the fact that the round-trip distance from Wadi Rum to Aqaba is approximately 120 km. While we always try to remain flexible, such extended side trips significantly increase driving time, fuel costs, and driver hours, and therefore require additional arrangements and fair compensation. As for the driver’s behavior, our internal review confirmed that he remained professional, patient, and courteous throughout the tour even under constant changes and requests and followed the agreed itinerary carefully.
