And does it include the Cusco to Lima flight? I would like to confirm which flights exactly I would have to buy additionally

    • LimaToursOperatorWritten April 2026

It does not include international or domestic flights, the client must see this directly. The passenger should consider the purchase of their international flight to Lima and their departure flight from Cusco to Lima for the last day, as well as their international flight from Lima to their country of origin (this would be in case they plan to return the same day they depart from Cusco).

Do you take care of the airfares for the internal flights within Peru? Do you have insurance companies to suggest?

The airfare is not included in the program. However, we can send you a quotation, or you may purchase it directly from the airline. I recommend that you ask a TourRadar agent directly so they can guide you regarding the travel insurance. We can arrange the pick-up from the port at an additional cost of USD 32.00 per person.

Will I feel okay to join this tour by myself? Will it be a very big group tour? Also, how much will it be if I want to add another night in Lima and Aguas Calientes?

Yes, you can absolutely join the tour by yourself. Many solo travelers join our groups, and our guides make sure everyone feels comfortable and included throughout the experience. The group size may vary depending on the date, but typically it is a small to medium-sized group, which allows for a more personalized and enjoyable experience.

In Sacred Valley, are we going to see the circular cultivation terraces in Moray and the Salt mines in Maras?

    • LimaToursOperatorWritten October 2025

The programs only include the Sacred Valley excursion with Ollantaytamo Fortress and Yucay Museum. We can add the Maras & Moray excursion on your last day in Cusco at an additional cost of USD 36.00 (on a shared basis).

Could you arrange an overnight stay in Aguas Calientes on the day of the trip to Machu Picchu, so that I can visit Machu Picchu the next day? Also, is a ticket for Machu Picchu included in this tour?

    • LimaToursOperatorWritten October 2025

In the main program it is included the entrance to Machu Picchu (Day 12), but if you wish to add another ticket for visiting Machu Picchu you can include it with an additional cost: USD 108.00 (includes: Machu Picchu ticket, roundtrip bus to Aguas Calientes)

If I visit Machu Picchu between December 7 and 11, is there any difference in the tickets? I heard there is a limit on the number of visitors. I want to take several courses for 2 days and see the sun rise or the sun set, if possible. Can you give me some recommendations?

    • LimaToursOperatorWritten October 2025

The dates between December 7 and 10 are good. Until now there is availability on route 2 where you can take the classic photo. The weather is milder in the afternoon.

We do not offer room-sharing options. As a solo traveler, if you decide to book the program, we would confirm a single room exclusively for you.

Is there an additional supplement cost? For the Machu Picchu part of the tour, can I also do the Huayna Picchu?

    • LimaToursOperatorWritten March 2025

There's no supplement cost for single accommodation. You will have to search until find the rate in single room accommodation. Unfortunately it's not possible to make Huayna Picchu, in order to make it, you will have to spend one night in Aguas Calientes, this itinerary does not include an overnight there.

Do Lima Tours provide the option of being partnered with another solo traveler in the group in order to get the double occupancy rate?

    • LimaToursOperatorWritten March 2025

We do not provide that option for solo passengers, due that this is not a group departure. You will have private transfers from/to each airport, the excursions are shared with other passengers travelling with LimaTours too. That's why we do not offer the option to share with other passengers.
