Diane· October 18th, 2025Hotel upgrades were not as expected. Poor views at most and placed at the very back of the hotels or had terrible street views in STANDARD rooms. What did we pay extra for? The ONLY excursion planned with your company was changed from a cruise to a land tour without notifying us. We also paid for the faster ferries, however, the majority of our chosen seats were poorly placed in front of windowless walls or in crowded seats facing others and sharing their table which left no room or privacy. I ended up paying 168.00 euros to move to better seats in our 5.5 hr. return trip so we could be comfortable. View in EnglishThe trip was very well organized and we met a lot of friendly and helpful people who informed us very well about the special features and tips on site. In Athens, Mykonos, Naxos and Santorini, we had fantastic hotels and very good guides and supervisors. The many ferry connections worked wonderfully and were very well organized with transport to and from the hotels. On the island of Paros, the tour guide was not very interested in looking after us and the hotel has not deserved a 4' star rating for a long time. The photos on the website are at least 10 years old. The hotel is very remote from the town and apart from breakfast there is nothing to eat on site until after 7pm and that is not to be recommended. It balanced perfectly the flexibility of doing what we wanted without the hassle of planning , booking and purchasing our accomodations and transport. The hotels were wonderful and the rides were dependable and on time. I would highly suggest this tour with the upgrades of rooms. The one place superior rooms were not available, were a bit small for two adults and large luggage.
