Itinerary
- Day 1
Mahiyanganaya
Your hotel pickup happens early, then you're driven to Mahiyanganaya where you'll check in at Adaviya Resort for lunch. From there, head to Dambana to visit the remote jungle village of the Veddha indigenous people. You'll learn directly from community members about their traditions and daily life, then return to the resort for dinner.

- Day 2
Mahiyanganaya
Start with waterfall trekking through the jungle, and you'll have the chance to swim in a natural freshwater pool. Back at the resort, grab lunch and rest for a couple hours. In the afternoon, a jeep safari takes you through Gal Oya National Park where you might see leopards, bears, elephants, macaques, and various deer species. If you want a closer look at the wildlife, there's an option to combine the jeep drive with guided hiking.

Mahiyanganaya to Selected Destination
Breakfast comes first, then you're heading out early for a boat safari through Gal Oya National Park. This water-based approach lets you spot elephants swimming between islands or bathing at the lake's edge, and visit surrounding villages. The 40-minute drive to the lake leads into a 2 to 3 hour boat safari that shows the park from a different angle. After returning to the lodge, you'll be transferred to your next destination.
