Although we had a very pleasant driver, the trip was advertised as it being a tour with an English speaking chauffeur guide in the description. When we arrived in Sri Lanka unfortunately it became apparent that the driver could speak very little English and he was not a tour guide as advertised. We therefore learnt very little about the country we were visiting and found it was a lot of money just to pay just for a driver. We were very disappointed and upset. When I complained via touradar as having issues during the tour I heard no response despite them advertising 24hr support. We also didn’t manage to do all the things on the itinerary due to timings and things becoming closed after a certain time, and this needs to be taken into account when advertising their itinerary. Do not book via touradar and best to go direct to the company you are booking with as touradar misinformed us re what tickets were included in our itinerary also.Show more

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 28th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 28th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with Holiday Lanka Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 70 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Holiday Lanka Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
