The itinerary is meant for independent travelers, it is not a group tour. That means that if you want, we can tailor made your trip taking out the buses you prefer not to take and replacing them by flights. Buses are quite long. Some customers want to take them for the experience and the landscape, some take only part of them, flying the other sectors. And some just want to fly all. It is also a balance between budget and time. Please mind that when you replace a bus for a flight, as most are night buses, the tour quantity of nights gests reduced or you have to add overnights in different destinations. There are different day tours in each destinations, and these tours are in groups, and the quantity of customers depend a lot on the providers and attractions. Buenos Aires City Tour has aboout 30 to 40 customers. But the bike tour has between 4 and 10 customers. Puerto Madryn tours hace 30 to 40 customers. Ushuaia regular tour also, but if you want to upgrade to the trour with trekking and canoe with lunch, it is only up tpo 10-12 customers. Torres del Paine National Park tour is about 16. Perito Moreno Glacier is normally 15, but being so early in the season, if that tour does not depart, the regular tour has 40 customers. Bariloche Tour has between 10 and 16 customers.

Can I join the tour on a later date than the scheduled departure?

We work with independent travel itineraries, rather than group tours. This means that we can arrange the trip for whichever date is more convenient for you. There won't be a group guide and you will follow your own itinerary.

Would it be possible to join the tour starting from Puerto Madryn? I plan to travel Chile from Santiago, so the tour would be interesting, if I could skip the start in Buenos Aires and join the rest of the tour going from Puerto Madryn.

We can cut the tour in Puerto Madryn and begin from there, so if you are arriving on your own there, we can discount the Buenos Aires part and also the bus from Buenos Aires to Puerto Madryn. If you want to combine Argentina and Chile, you can share your plans with us and we can think of an integral trip for you that includes both countries.

I would like to add an additional trip to the falls at the end of my holiday. I also want to fly from Buenos Aires to Patagonia instead of taking the night bus.

Is it possible to go from bariloche straight to the falls by flight without going to Buenos Aires?

Is it possible to fly to puerto Madryn instead of taking the night bus at your own expense?

Yes, that's possible! However, when traveling by bus, no additional transfers are needed, as the arrival point is close to the accommodation. If you choose to fly, you would need a transfer from the airport to the hotel. If you prefer, we can organize it for you!

How much will it be then? What is the single supplement? Is it possible to add on iguazu falls and Torres del Paine national park chile

Yes, you can add Iguazu falls tour. We have a 3 nights package. From Calafate you'll have a tour to Torres del Paine, would that be ok or do you need another tour? We dont have prices ready. We'll propobably have them at the end of may.

I received all the vouchers in time prior the travel (airport transfers, accommodation, activity and bus tickets/vouchers). I had some questions during the preparation period which were promptly answered by Hi Travel team. From the first to the last day everything was well organized. You need to be a bit flexible person if you take this trip because of the hostel type of accommodation and the long traveling time by bus (altogether 118 hours=5 full days). But hey, the price is good! 😉 Programs were good, tourist guides always came and picked me up at the exact meeting points and time. One of my programs was cancelled due to worker's strike, I contacted Hi Travel Argentina straight away and the price was refunded in 1 hour by TourRadar. All in all, I was very satisfied with this trip and can recommend it to others.Show more

  I want to go south until Ushuaia, seeing as much natural and cultural relevant places on the way as possible. I can spend the last 14-20 days of october for a tour south. Some free time in some of the places to do self-guided activities is fine for me, but I am highly interested in getting insights and support from local Naturalists and/or guides as well.

  Patagonia is full of trekking opportunities from 1 to 2 hours hike to a 5 day hike. El Chalten is ideal to have 2 full free days to do self guided treks. Ushuaia has guided day tours in the national park with a 2/3 hours light hike, then lunch and then a very nice canoe. Torres del Paine National park is also a great place to visit, either in a guided tour or to do some self guided treks.

  I was planning on avoiding internal flights as much as possible. I am interested in hikes, but doing long treks is not the must do. Preferably hikes that can be planned more or less spontaneously, depending on weather and my own condition on that day. Day treks are absolutely fine. Canoe and wildlife also sound amazing.

  Yes, that's possible! However, when traveling by bus, no additional transfers are needed, as the arrival point is close to the accommodation. If you choose to fly, you would need a transfer from the airport to the hotel. If you prefer, we can organize it for you!

  When will I be able to get a price and book? I think I would prefer to fly? Is the airport far from the accommodation? I don't sleep well on buses and plane will get you there in a fraction of the time.

  If you decide to fly, there are two airport options: Trelew Airport, which has more frequent flights and is approximately 50 minutes from the accommodation. Puerto Madryn Airport, which is closer (about 15 minutes away), but has fewer flight options.
