I rate this between poor and ok. To much travel in terrible bus on terrible roads. As soon as we arrived in Chitwan...
I rate this between poor and ok. To much travel in terrible bus on terrible roads. As soon as we arrived in Chitwan we were told the safari was leaving in 30 minutes, so quick lunch and off again. Saw a couple of crocs and a couple of hippos and deer. Accommodation was ok surroundings lovely, food average. This 1 night 2 day is to fast, not relaxing, very uncomfortable. I assumed as a tour from Kathmandu then on to Pokhara (or return Kathmandu) we would travel as a tour group in a tourist bus.....not so....we travelled both ways in what seemed like a public bus, stopping a lot along the way to pick up locals. Stopping for breaks for food and toilets which were very undesirable. Very disappointed.Show more

  Yes it will be a tourist bus they have enough space for suitcases and hand luggage. If you are going to Pokhara than from Chitwan you can go it will be near for you. There are few options such as Greenline, Gagdamba travel, blue sky travel, Mountain overland etc.

  You can book the 1 nights 2 days package. Kathmandu to Chitwan bus is already included in package and Chitwan to pokhara is also included. I would suggest you to book 2 nights 3 days you will have extra canoe ride, jungle walk, elephant breeding center, 1 lunch, 1 dinner, 1 breakfast and 1 night accommodation get extra in few dollar.
