Are there any dates for 2026 yet?

For 2026, we are excited to offer the following group tours: The Tour - 8-Day Trekking in Svaneti. The price of this tour is USD 1240. Dates: June 10-17, July 10-17, July 20-27, August 1-8, August 10-17, August 20-27, September 1-8, September 10-17, September 20-27, October 1-8. All our group tours are guaranteed.

Could you help me understand what will be the advantage of booking with you? And, on August 1st at what time we should be at the meeting point? so I can plan my flights.

Is it possible on Aug 2/3/4 as well?

Can I know what happens if despite my best efforts, I can't complete the hike before the sun sets? My physical fitness is ok but I live in a city-state and don't have a chance to hike very much.

Some of the days are difficult hike. On the first day, our guide will estimate your capabilities for these hard days. In case you are not fit enough for this hard day (especially Day 3 and Day 6), then you can skip these days, and travel to the next destination by a car. We will provide transportation free of charge. However, once we start the hiking, then we need to finish it, so that is why it is essential to follow our guide's instructions on that.

What clothing should I pack for the trek?

You should bring both light and warm hiking clothing, as temperatures can vary greatly. Special equipment is not needed.

Do I need to carry my luggage during the trek?

You do not need to carry your main bags as they will be transported for you. Just a small day pack for essentials is needed.

Is the trek manageable for a normal fit and healthy person?

The trek involves significant elevation changes, but it should be manageable for fit individuals. We offer options for those who may want to rest on certain days.

Is there a guide during the trek?

Yes, if the group exceeds 12 participants, an additional guide will accompany us for better support.

What currency is used in Georgia?

The local currency is Georgian Lari (GEL). While credit cards are accepted in larger cities, cash is often needed in smaller villages.

We are travelling with two bicycles. Do you have anywhere where we can store the bicycles, or do you know where we could store the bicycles while we are on the tour.

We don't have that space in the office, but we can store your bicycles in one of our guide's house or garage where it would be safe to keep.

I'm super interested in this trip but have some questions: - if you say the trip is hard at some days, what does that mean? Is it manageable for a normal fit and healthy person? - do you already have some bookings for that period? I don't want to book a flight and then will have no tour ;) - what clothes will be required? As it goes up quite a bit.

Some days are difficult as it involves quite big elevation change, so uphills and downhills, however for fit people, these days should not be a problem. In addition, we also offer car option for some days if any of our travelers decide to rest for one day. We have 7 people signed up for that period. The tour is guaranteed. You will need both light and warm hiking clothes. No special equipment is needed for this trip.

We had an amazing trip in the Svaneti Mountains. A special thanks to our wonderful guide, Dito, and our assistant guide, Erekle. The scenery was breathtaking, and the hikes were enjoyable, not too challenging, but not too easy either. Everything was very well organised, and whenever there were any surprises, they always turned out to be for the better. The guesthouses were generally very good, and the food was excellent. All in all, it was a fantastic experience that we would highly recommend.Show more

Totally satisfied with the trip and the guide Tato, who has taught us a lot about the history and culture of Georgia. He has served as the toast master the Georgia way, and his speech before each drink is very profound and soul touching. The only suggestion for improvement is to modify the last day’s information to remove the visit to glacier Chalaargi on the way back to Tbilisi. It’s in the program but we are told if we go there, we’ll arrive at Tbilis at 10 pm.Show more

  We definitely want to do this tour and would prefer to be in 10th Sept group but we are unsure if we can get from Batumi to Tbilisi in time. Can we book on the tour for 20th Sept and once we get to Georgia and can more confident with travel plans have the option to switch to 10th tour if there are still vacancies?

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
