Itinerary
- Day 1
New Delhi to Jaipur
Your hotel pickup happens in the morning, then it's a drive to Jaipur. Once you arrive, the guide takes you through Amber Fort first, which has an impressive palace complex built into the hillside. After that, you'll head into the Old City to see City Palace, where parts are still used by the royal family. From there, you check out Jal Mahal, this palace that sits right on Man Sagar Lake and looks quite striking from a distance. Next comes Hawa Mahal with its 953 small windows carved into the pink sandstone, it's the most recognizable spot in Jaipur. Your last stop is Jantar Mantar, an old astronomical observation site that's really interesting if you like historical structures. By evening, you're driven back to your New Delhi hotel.
