Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Luang Prabang
A driver meets you at arrival and takes you to your hotel. From there, you'll spend the day walking through Luang Prabang's temples, checking out Wat Visoun, Wat Aham, and Wat Mai. The real highlight is climbing Mount Phousi to see the golden stupa and catch the sunset over the city and Mekong River. Later in the evening, head to the Night Market to browse local textiles and get a feel for what's available in town.

- Day 2
Mekong River Cruise and Pak Ou Caves
You'll start with a guided tour of Wat Sene, which is Luang Prabang's oldest temple, then see Wat Xiengthong with its distinctive sweeping roofs. After that, cruise upstream on the Mekong River through countryside scenery to the Pak Ou Caves, where thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues fill the space. You'll also stop at Ban Xanghai village to watch local rice wine production and then visit Ban Phanom for hand weaving demonstrations before heading back.

- Day 3
Alms Ritual, Minority Villages, and Kuangsi Waterfall
Start early if you want to join the daily morning alms ritual with monks, then head to Phousi Market to see local produce and hill-tribe weavings. You'll visit ethnic minority villages including Ban Ouay where Hmong communities live, and Ban Ou and Ban Thapene where you'll find Khmu communities. Later, go to Kuangsi Waterfall for swimming and forest trail walks. Before heading back to Luang Prabang for sunset at Wat Siphouthabath, you'll check out Ban Xangkhong for silk weaving and Saa papermaking.

National Museum and Departure
Visit the National Museum in the former Royal Palace to see artifacts that reflect Lao culture and history. After that, browse the Central Market. Depending on your flight time, you might have some free time to explore shopping areas before your driver takes you to the airport for departure.
