Itinerary
- Day 1
Ahmedabad
You'll arrive at Ahmedabad airport where someone will meet you and take you to your hotel. The afternoon and evening are set aside for exploring the city's key sites. Walk through Gandhi Ashram to see where the leader stayed, then head to the City Museum for local history. Hutheesing Jain Temple shows intricate architecture, and you'll also check out Adalaj Stepwell with its detailed carvings and cool underground chambers. Cap off the evening at Akshardham Temple, which is particularly nice when lit up as the sun goes down.

Ahmedabad to Jamnagar
After breakfast, you'll check out and drive toward Jamnagar, stopping along the way to see an old carved stepwell that's been standing for centuries. When you reach Jamnagar, there's Bala Hanuman Temple where they've been chanting Ramdhun continuously since 1956, which is quite something. You'll also see Lakhota Museum and walk around Lakhota Lake. Later in the evening, head into the local market to get a feel for how the town operates, with vendors, music, and the general bustle of evening commerce.

Jamnagar to Dwarka
You'll have breakfast and check out before driving to Dwarka. Once you're settled at your hotel, a half-day tour takes you around the major temples. Rukmini Devi Temple is dedicated to Krishna's wife, and you'll see the Gomati Ghat Temples right along the waterfront. Nageshwar Mahadev Temple sits on the coast, and Bet Dwarka involves a short boat ride to reach the island temple. The day wraps up with Dwarkadhish Temple, which is central to the town's spiritual life.

Dwarka to Somnath
Start early to catch the Aarti ceremony at Dwarkadhish Temple before grabbing breakfast. Then you'll drive to Somnath, stopping to visit Kirti Mandir, Bharat Mandir, and the Nehru Planetarium along the way. After checking into your hotel, explore Bhalka Tirth where Krishna is said to have left the earth, plus Triveni Sangam where three rivers meet, Geeta Mandir, and Chopati beach. The evening includes the Aarti ceremony at Somnath Temple followed by the light and sound show that tells the temple's history.

Somnath to Sasan Gir
After breakfast, you'll check out and drive to Sasan Gir National Park. The afternoon is reserved for a jungle safari where your main goal is spotting Asiatic lions, which live here in their natural habitat. You'll also have chances to see other wildlife and get photos if you bring a camera. The landscape is dry and rocky, and the wildlife here is quite distinct from other Indian parks.

Sasan Gir
An early game drive gets you to Devalia Safari Park where lions, leopards, and antelopes roam. You'll also explore the Gir Jungle Trail looking for vultures and pythons, then head to Kamleshwar Dam for marsh crocodiles and various birds. Breakfast and lunch happen back at your hotel. The afternoon brings another jungle safari, and from there, the rest of your time is free to relax, reflect, or explore at your own pace.
