You can definitely book the accommodation on your own before and after the tour. However, please note that the government will charge the Sustainable Development Fee (SDF) of US$100 per night per person for every night spent in Bhutan. You can pay the SDF for the extra nights together with the SDF for the original duration of 15 nights.

We have planned to stay a couple of days before and after the roundtrip in either Paro or Thimbu. If you are able to find a better connection, assistance in booking the international flight to/from Bhutan will be appreciated. We would like you to make an attractive offer for the whole trip including accommodation in Paro and/or Thimpu before and after the roundtrip.

    • Bhutan Acorn Tours & TravelOperatorWritten November 2025

The published price for the original duration (15 nights) is US$3550 per person based on a full board accommodation. For early booking, we are pleased to offer you a discount of US$210 per person, bringing the price down to US$3340 per person. This is required to be paid in advance before you arrive in Bhutan (20% deposit at the time of booking and the remaining 80% due 60 days before the date of arrival).
