Itinerary
- Day 1
Arrival in Tabanan
You'll be picked up at the airport with a nameplate and driven about 45 minutes to Tabanan. Spend the day settling in and recovering from travel. Later in the evening, head out for a local meal where you'll meet the other travelers and the tour team. Your accommodation sits right on the beach in a quiet, remote part of Bali near some well-known surfing breaks.

- Day 2
Mount Batu Karu to Jatiluwih to Tanah Lot Temple
An early transfer gets you to Mount Batu Karu (2576m), Bali's second highest peak. At the volcano's base, you'll see Batu Karu Temple and wear traditional Balinese clothing provided by the tour. Then cycle through rice paddy fields and past local villages, stopping for lunch of traditional Babi Guling. After riding, visit Tanah Lot Temple, built on a rock formation in the ocean and one of the island's most recognizable temples.

Mount Abang to Amed
Start the day cycling from Mount Abang in central Bali toward Amed on the northeast coast. You'll begin with a warm-up climb before heading through fruit and cashew plantations across the island's dry, rugged interior. The route breaks into two sections: 25km off-road followed by 25km on main roads. You'll arrive at your beachside rooms in Amed, a small fishing village. Around 5pm, head out on a traditional wooden boat with a local fisherman to watch the sunset and possibly help with fishing.

- Day 4
Amed
Morning snorkeling trip to a Japanese shipwreck in shallow water just offshore at roughly 6m depth. The coral is live, fish are plentiful, and visibility is clear. If cycling interests you, there's an optional 3-hour coastal ride with nice views, though it's quite hilly. Otherwise, stay at the hotel, book a massage, and relax with cocktails by the beach.

Landmarks Japanese Shipwreck - Day 5
Amed to Sanur
An early transfer takes you to the higher volcanic areas of Bali for a more technical ride today. Starting near Mount Abang's base, you'll ride mostly downhill from 1600m, seeing some of the island's nicest scenery along the way. After finishing the ride, transfer 45 minutes to Sanur and check into your beachside accommodation.

- Day 6
Mount Batur Crater Rim to Ubud
Cycle from Mount Batur's outer crater rim all the way down to Ubud on mostly downhill terrain with varied surfaces. You'll pass through classic rice paddy fields and villages throughout the route. Arriving around 3pm gives you time to walk around and get a feel for this cultural center before dinner.

- Day 7
Mount Batur Trek and Toya Devasa Hot Springs
Your guide picks you up around 2am to trek Mount Batur (1,717m), an active volcano. Trekking starts at 3:30am and takes about two and a half hours to reach the summit for sunrise (conditions permitting). After watching the sunrise, walk around the three volcano craters. Your guide brings water, snacks, and breakfast. By 9am you'll be back down. Later, soak at Toya Devasa hot springs to recover, then return to Ubud around noon. Spend the afternoon by the hotel pool or exploring the town.
