Itinerary

  1. Day 1

    Baltra to Puerto Ayora

    Landing at Baltra airport, you'll connect with your English-speaking guide and take a shuttle to the ferry across Itabaca Channel heading toward Puerto Ayora. Along the way, stops at Twin Craters and El Chato Reserve let you see giant tortoises going about their day in the wild. After walking through a lava tunnel, lunch happens at the ranch, then you head to the Charles Darwin Research Station to learn how they're working on conservation here.

  2. Day 2

    Full Day Island Excursion

    This full day takes you by boat to one of four islands (Bartolome, North Seymour, South Plaza, or Santa Fe) depending on what's available and what you prefer. You'll spend time on land checking out the landscape, then get in the water for snorkeling to see what lives here. A box lunch comes along on the boat so you eat while out on the water.

  3. Day 3

    Puerto Ayora to San Cristobal

    Your morning is open, so you can wander around Puerto Ayora however you like. Tortuga Bay has white sand and you can swim with marine iguanas there, or grab a water taxi to Las Grietas for swimming between lava walls instead. The fish market along the boulevard is interesting if you want to see pelicans and sea lions hanging around. By afternoon, you'll take a speedboat to San Cristobal, which runs about 2.5 hours, landing in Puerto Baquerizo Moreno where sea lions often lounge near the beach.

  4. Day 4

    San Cristobal

    You can pick between two different full day options here. One is a snorkel trip to Kicker Rock where you'll see sharks, tropical fish, turtles, and manta rays in the water. The other explores San Cristobal's highlands, hitting El Junco lagoon to spot frigate birds, La Galapaguera where they breed giant tortoises, Puerto Chino beach with its rare cacti and wildlife, the Interpretation Center to understand the geological history, and Tijeretas Hill where frigate birds nest. Either option includes a box lunch.

    San Cristobal to Mainland Ecuador

    Spend your last morning here taking a walk along the boulevard or relaxing at Playa Mann beach nearby if you want to. Your hotel will arrange a pickup for the transfer to San Cristobal airport so you can fly back to mainland Ecuador.

The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
