Itinerary
- Day 1
Casablanca or Marrakesh Arrival
You'll arrive at either Casablanca or Marrakesh airport where your driver meets you at baggage claim. They'll handle your luggage and drive you to your 4-star hotel in Marrakesh. The drive takes roughly 3.5 hours from Casablanca or about an hour from Marrakesh airport, so you'll have time to settle in and rest after your flight.

- Day 2
Marrakesh to Ouarzazate
After breakfast at your hotel, you head south toward the High Atlas Mountains and drive through Tichka Pass at about 7,400 feet elevation. Along the route you'll pass through small Berber villages where locals live traditionally. The main stop is Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO site and one of Morocco's finest kasbahs that's been used as a filming location for various movies. You'll spend time walking through the earthen buildings and learning about Berber architecture before returning to your accommodation.

- Day 3
Ouarzazate to Merzouga
You set out after breakfast heading east across sparse desert terrain toward Merzouga and the Sahara dunes. Once you reach the sand, you have your choice of traveling by camel or 4x4 deeper into the dunes. By afternoon you're at a traditional Berber tent camp in the middle of the desert. After lunch and time to rest, you catch the sunset from the massive dunes, then gather for dinner either under the night sky or inside your tent.

- Day 4
Merzouga to Tinghir
After breakfast, you travel west through Zagora toward Tinghir, stopping at several kasbahs scattered through the region. You'll see ancient Neolithic rock carvings carved into the rock face, dating back over 5,000 years to when the Sahara was covered by water. Later in the day you reach the Tinghir Gorges, which are deep canyons with dramatic rock walls and a small river running through. You'll have time to walk through the canyon before heading back to Tinghir for dinner.

Tinghir to Ouarzazate
You travel northwest after breakfast through the Valley of the Roses, following what locals call the Road of the Thousand Kasbahs because of all the fortified structures dotting the landscape. A stop at the palm grove in Skoura gives you a chance to see date palms and traditional gardens, then continue to Ouarzazate by late afternoon. This is a smaller city that serves as a base for desert exploration, and you'll have dinner at your hotel.

Ouarzazate to Marrakesh
After breakfast you head back north toward Marrakesh, a drive of about 3 to 4 hours. Along the way you'll stop for lunch and visit a women's cooperative that produces argan oil, learning how the traditional pressing process works. You'll arrive in Marrakesh in the late afternoon and check into your 4-star hotel for your final nights.

Marrakesh
You have a free day in Marrakesh to do what appeals to you. Some people walk through the medina and get lost in the souks, others visit the Bahia Palace or hang out at Jemaa el-Fnaa square. There are optional activities available if you want a guide or tour of specific sites, but the day is yours to structure. By evening you can grab dinner at a restaurant you choose or explore the city's food scene on your own.

Departure
After breakfast, you transfer to the airport for your departure. Depending on where you flew in, you'll head either to Casablanca airport (about 3 hours south) or back to Marrakesh airport (roughly 1 hour away). Your driver will get you there with plenty of time before your flight, ending your Morocco trip.
