The day tours are join-in day tours. You may meet the different people on each day tours. And normally, we always have from 4 to 25pax per day tour. If you prefer smaller groups, we have groups from 2 to 12pax per day tour. You can upgrade to the smaller groups with a surcharge. Some tours are not availabe and has less passengers during Vietnamese Tet Holiday (from 4 Feb to 22 Feb 2026). The high season is from Oct to May. The highest number of foreign tourists visit Vietnam from December to May (except during the Vietnamese Tet holiday). You can do the trip during this time if you want to meet more people during the day trip as well as in your free time.

I am interested in this tour. Do you have any suggestions on how to include Tam Coc? I am flexible on the dates, looking at late Nov / early Dec 2025 for 6 adults.

There is one free day on 16 Days Best of Vietnam itinerary: Day 6. On Day 6, you can do a day trip to Ninh Binh to visit and enjoy Tam Coc boat trip. There are 2 options: OPTION 1: Hoa Lu Citadel - Tam Coc Boat Trip - group tour (Lunch). OPTION 2: Hoa Lu Citadel - Tam Coc Boat Trip - Mua Cave - group tour (Lunch) - you have to hike up (500 steps) to Mua Cave's viewpoint. It's suitable for visitors who have good health condition and like active outdoor activity. The price of Tam Coc day tour is from 42 USD per person.

would like private car with driver in the cities, at least on days when there are tours. If any free dates; we can try the city transport or taxis. A group cruise is fine. Stay in 3 star hotels; and would also like cost for 4 star hotels.

Regarding the private services, we do have private travel services. But I recommend you the join-in and sharing services for Halong Bay Cruise trip and the transfer Hanoi - Sapa - Hanoi to save your money. Because it's about more than 300km ( 5 - 6hrs of driving) from Hanoi to Sapa, the price of private transfers for 2 people will make the tour price much higher. We do have the sharing limousine ( reclined seats), you can travel with VIP seats on a sharing limousine ( cheaper and more comfortable than a private normal 4-seat car).

Our trip to Vietnam with Swallow Travels in December 2025 was exceptional. Rosie provided outstanding assistance from planning the itinerary right through to the airport drop-off at the tour's end. She was always responsive, even outside business hours, and went far beyond a typical travel agent by looking after our health and well-being, as well as that of our family group.She even organised a beautiful birthday celebration for my son during the Ha Long Bay cruise. The accommodation, tours, and transport were all excellent, on time and fully consistent with the itinerary and plan.Highly recommended.Show more

We had the best 2 weeks in Vietnam! Just for context, I would usually book everything myself on a holiday but this time Swallow travel was recommended to us by a friend and we gave them a try and I would honestly never go back! Rosie was our travel guide and she was so professional, knowledgeable and her speed at communication was incredible! She seemed available at all times of the day! We were so grateful for her! When booking we explained what our parameters were and how long we had to spend in Vietnam and also certain ‘out of the way’ things that we really wanted to incorporate into the plans and there was no problem at all! Rosie came up with a detailed plan, we went back and fourth a few times collectively decided on the best plan for us. We suggested private cabins for sleeper trains etc and this was no problem at all etc. she tailored the trip to the level of price/comfort suited us. The ha giang loop Sapa and hoi an were our favourites. She chose a small group company called “authentic” for the ha giang loop and we found this to be perfect as a couple! We were feeling a bit run down ahead of hoi an and decided to not do the day tours organised here and instead have a few relaxing days to explore hoi an and this was no problem for Rosie, she cancelled the trips, organised a refund to be delivered to us and gave us infor on pharmacies and hospitals close by just in case. Highly recommend Swallow Travel! This is a long overdue review. Well organized with joining different groups for different activities as well as having private tours. We were put in good hotels and all the different guides were great. We felt completely safe with Ms.Thuong from Swallow Travel being in constant contact with us through Whatsapp. My wife got sick during the trip and I had no problem contacting Ms.Thuong and changing plans. 5 stars!Show more

A friend recommended Swallow Travel for my trip to Vietnam . On my initial contact with them , I asked if they could put together an itinerary for a visit of 4 weeks . My initial contact was with Rosie Dinh who put together the itinerary , which I was more than happy with , also I could gage what the price would be for the package . But my plans weren’t concrete on first contact . A few weeks elapsed before I made contact again, when I had a firmer idea of my plans. A Vietnamese Visa is for 30 days , so asked them if they could make the itinerary for 30 days , with a few tweaks at the end , due to my flights . This they did with no hesitation, and drew up an amended itinerary in no time , my new point of contact was , Thuong Nguyen . She informed me that Rosie had moved on to pastures new . And I must admit the communication throughout was excellent, before and during the booking process . A 10% deposit was required on booking, with the remainder payed 6 weeks before departure. On my arrival at Vietnam , landing at Nội Bài airport Hà Nội , I didn’t have to think about anything. It was all organised, a driver was waiting to transfer me to my hotel . The whole month was organised very well, Ang Nguyen always kept me informed about pick up times for the next days trips , or transfers to the airport for internal flights . Advised me if there were changes to flight times etc . Normally I plan holidays myself, but to be honest choosing Swallow Travel to organise my Vietnam trip was the best decision I made , felt like royalty at times . They are an excellent company , and great to deal with . The itinerary was so varied, and balanced with quite a few rest days in between, which I’d asked for . I was able to see most of Vietnam’s highlights, and do some of my own things as well . Couldn’t recommend Swallow Travel highly enough . Great communication throughout, well organised itinerary, and the day trips were superb . Therefore, if your thinking of visiting Vietnam , I wouldn’t look any further than Swallow Travel . When we had an issue with our hotel in Hanoi due to building noise from across the street, we were transferred to another hotel with fuss or cost. I would highly recommend Swallow Travel if planning a trip to Vietnam.Show more

FANTASTIC is how I will describe this tour by Swallow Travel. Right from our first communications after booking this tour, during and after our trip, they were always available to answer any queries from us. Jenny, who was our contact was amazing, she deserves a 10☆ rating all by her self. The tour was incredibly well organised, all pick-ups were on time and each tour was so well organised with fantastic guides. None of the groups were big, which suited us and on one of our tours there were only the two of us and the guide. All of the guides were excellent. Each day is a new adventure in Vietnam and we're aware it's a well trodden route but it's so well done and we felt so thrilled to be part of it for a while. Yes, it has very busy towns and cities with scooters coming towards you from every angle but you soon learn how to manage. The only mistake we made was that we booked separately, a guided food tour one evening. It really is not value for money ($25 each) and the food was not good at all. You can get much better food for a fraction of the price. (That's our only gripe) Thanks again to TourRadar (who we will use again) and Swallow tours for giving us this amazing experience.Show more

It was my first experience buying tailored trip. It's very pleasant to be taken care of, when you go through airport gates and somebody is waiting for you already. Check in made, boarding passes printed, nothing much to stress about, just weather :). The only change I'd make in trip itinerary now - I'd spend 4 nights in Ho Chi Min and 3 in Hoi An. But that's my personal preference - big cities. And I think you could make such arrangements prior a trip, because representatives of Swallow Travel (in my case it was Ms. Thuong Nguyen) communicate willingly and answer all your questions. All transportation was easy and flawless, tours which I joined during trip interesting and well organised, small groups. Some of hotels chosen for this trip I liked better than the others, but all of them met standard requirements and were located conveniently. So overall I'm really happy with my first experience with Tourradar platform, Swallow Travel company and my agent Thuong Nguyen especially, thank you! Can honestly recommend their services to every traveler.Show more

would like private car with driver in the cities, at least on days when there are tours. If any free dates; we can try the city transport or taxis. A group cruise is fine. Stay in 3 star hotels; and would also like cost for 4 star hotels.

  Regarding the private services, we do have private travel services. But I recommend you the join-in and sharing services for Halong Bay Cruise trip and the transfer Hanoi - Sapa - Hanoi to save your money. Because it's about more than 300km ( 5 - 6hrs of driving) from Hanoi to Sapa, the price of private transfers for 2 people will make the tour price much higher. We do have the sharing limousine ( reclined seats), you can travel with VIP seats on a sharing limousine ( cheaper and more comfortable than a private normal 4-seat car).

  No it is not included into this tour package. But we can customize it at a surcharge. Do you still want us to add Ba Na hill tour and change one night in Danang on day 12? We will give you the extra cost to upgrade to 5 star accommodation option when we hear from you.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 7th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 7th, 2026, a minimum payment of 10% is required to confirm your booking with Swallow Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Swallow Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
