Lisbon
You'll land at Lisbon airport this morning and take the shuttle to your hotel in one of the city's nicest neighborhoods. After you settle in, there's time to relax or walk around before the welcome meeting at 6:00pm. An optional dinner follows if you're interested.

Lisbon
Your guided tour covers Lisbon's Age of Discovery history starting with Belem Tower. Next you'll stop at the Pasteis de Belem factory to taste the famous Portuguese pastries, then head to the UNESCO-listed Jeronimos Monastery. From there, it's Rossio Square and the historic neighborhoods like Chiado before ending at São Jorge Castle. You'll wrap up with dinner and a Fado show.

Sintra - Cascais
The drive to Sintra takes you through forested terrain to Palacio da Pena, which has romantic architecture and great viewpoints. After that, you'll reach Cabo da Roca, Europe's westernmost point, where you can grab a souvenir certificate. Later in the day, see the beaches around Cascais including Praia do Guincho, explore Devil's Mouth cave, and check out the seaside resort town before heading back to Lisbon.

Lisbon
You have a free day to explore Lisbon however you like, with plenty of time for shopping and wandering around the city. This evening, you'll sail out on the Tagus River to watch the sunset with views of Lisbon's main monuments during the best light of the day.

Óbidos - Nazare - Coimbra
Travel to Óbidos, the medieval walled town with colorful buildings and narrow cobbled streets that feel historic. You'll try Ginja, a traditional Portuguese liqueur, then head to Nazare, known for its extreme surfing and massive waves. After free time for lunch, you'll drive to Coimbra, home to Portugal's oldest university and including the Monastery of Santa Cruz.

Porto
After breakfast, you'll get a guided tour of the University of Coimbra, seeing the Palace of Schools, Royal Palace with its Grand Hall of Acts, Royal Chapel of Saint Michael, and the Joanine Library. You'll also check out the Science Museum and Botanic Garden. Later you'll drive to Porto for a cultural tour with the Bolhão Market, historic streets, and Bolsa Palace.

Porto
In the morning, head to Porto's river area to walk across the Douro River and explore the city's six bridges. Then you'll take a 50-minute scenic Douro River cruise passing Bolsa Palace, the Museum of Port Wine, and Mosteiro de Serra do Pilar. After that, visit the World of Wine district in Vila Nova de Gaia where you can choose 2 experiences from six museums, plus explore restaurants and shops.
