Thamel, Kathmandu, Kathmandu, Bagmati, Nepal (Pickup from Hotel in Thamel, 06:15 - 06:30)
End point
Muglin, Kumroj, Chitwan, Narayani Zone, Nepal (After rafting we provide the Local bus to Pokhara, Chitwan, Kathmandu or other destination ., 02:00 - 03:00)

Through this to our company, I arranged for a private car to pick me up in Kathmandu to take me to the river town....
Through this to our company, I arranged for a private car to pick me up in Kathmandu to take me to the river town. They told me they would pick me up at my hotel at 7:30 in which they did and were on time. The road to the river town is horrible, but that wasn’t the problem. Once I got to the Rafting location (around 11am) they made me wait two hours and 15 minutes until the other participants arrived. I have no idea how or why times were not coordinated so that everyone arrived around the same time. They spoke very, very little English so communication was extremely difficult. Finally at 1:15 seven other participants arrived and we were able to start. I had a waterproof bag in which I put a change of clothes so I could change into dry clothes at the end of the tour. I was going to put my cell phone in there. But the guide suggested we all put our phones in his “waterproof box “because there is an area on the river in which we could take pictures and he could easily hand them out.. We all put our cameras into his box. The guide took my waterproof bag and placed it inside of his waterproof bag. On the second set of rapids (which I was told was a cat 3+) we tipped completely over. All of us were shocked but ok. Many of us received bumps, bruises, and scrapes. We finally get back in the raft and complete a few more rapids before coming to the part of the river in which we can take photos. The guide proceeds to open up his “waterproof box “to find that is completely full of water. I have an iPhone 15 so my phone was fine however, there were many others who’s phones and cameras were completely ruined, including our guides cell phone. The river and rapids were fun. The guide, tour company, communication and lack of education was appalling! I would never suggest booking this company. There are a bunch of companies to chose from. I'm glad we were able to provide you with a car on time as we finalized. Regarding the delay at the rafting point, I apologize for the inconvenience caused by the late arrival of the other group. Despite our efforts to synchronize the timing, it seems they did not adhere to the schedule, resulting in a three-hour wait for you. I'm truly sorry for this extended delay. Additionally, I apologize if there was any confusion about where to store your belongings. As you were traveling by car, I suggested leaving your items in our car for safekeeping while you enjoyed the rafting experience. I understand that the situation could have been better communicated, and I regret any inconvenience this may have caused. Upon arriving at the hotel, I had hoped you could take advantage of the facilities to freshen up and change before the trip. Again, I apologize if this was not clearly conveyed. Your feedback is invaluable to us, and I assure you that we will work to improve our communication and coordination processes to prevent similar issues in the future. Once again, I apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before May 8th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after May 8th, 2026, a minimum payment of 30% is required to confirm your booking with Himalayan Adventure Treks & Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Himalayan Adventure Treks & Tours will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
