      Our base for the week is Casa Azul, a comfortable-grade hotel in the town of Sagres. This small guesthouse has bright rooms each with a private bathroom, balcony and refrigerator. Although no on site swimming pool, Mareta Beach is only a five-minute walk away.

    Am interested in one of the trekking trips in Portugal (i.e. Walking in Portugal - Remote). Note average day is 10 to 15 km and takes 4 hours. It seems like a very slow paced? I can do 10km in less than 1.5 hour easily. Are the trails extended for those who can do longer?

      The pace is calculated as an average so dependant on the group it may be quicker than this. As the trip is a centre based trip, we stay in the same hotel throughout, if you wish to walk further there may be opportunities to do so and the tour leader will be more than happy to assist.
