Due to the size of the boat, we do not offer any single cabins. For arrival transfers, If you'd like an airport transfer on day 1, you'll need to arrive at Male International Airport (MLE). For those arriving on time, our tour leader will meet you in the hotel reception at 4pm for the welcome meeting followed by an orientation walking tour of the town. We'll take in the Mosque, and the fish market and stroll along the water's edge to watch the ferries coming and going. At the end of the tour, the earliest your flight can depart is 11am on day 8. We do only have 2 spaces left for this departure currently.

The Maldives in September is hot and humid, with average temperatures around 30°C and high humidity levels. It's a wet month, with frequent rain showers, though they are often brief and can offer relief from the heat. There are still plenty of sunny hours.

Is the single supplement available for this cruise? How much is the single supplement? Can you accommodate Nora with a vegetarian or vegan diet?

Due to the size of the boat used, there are no single cabins. All solo travelers will be matched with a roommate of the same gender. Breakfasts are often mashuni - a tuna and coconut combination which is served with roti style bread or a more western start to the day with eggs and toast. Most lunches and dinners will have a pasta element and during the afternoons the boat crew will often bake a cake. Plenty of fresh veg, meat and fruit is also provided. Please advise us at time of booking if you require a gluten free or vegetarian diet.

When will I receive my final trip documents?

Final documents will be available for download prior to departure, detailing itinerary and important travel information.

I'm 86 years old and walk very slowly, prefer level surfaces to stairs. How much walking does your trip require?

This is a full on trip with lots of Walking up and down hills a goood fittness level is required. We suggest you read the trip notes. You also have boat transfers it is open ocean and sometimes is prone to bumpy rides you need to be comfortable getting on and off boats in rough coniditions should the situation arise.

Would like to know if the cabin has private bathroom? What hour is sure to be at the airport to take plane?

4 of the cabins have ensuite bathrooms. The other cabin has a private bathroom but it is not en suite. At the end of the trip the earliest time you can book a flight to depart is 11am. We will provide airport transfers free of charge if you arrive the day the trip starts and leave the day the trip ends (at end flight but be after 11am).

Is there Wi-Fi available on the boat?

The boat does not have Wi-Fi; obtaining a local SIM card is an option for connectivity.

Can you tell me what the accommodations are like? Does the boat offer a room for 2 with a private bath? Are the dates set?

We have a departure 14-21DEC, and 28DEC to 4 Jan, 2026. The maximum group size is 10. The 5 cabins are small and simple but adequate for sleeping and changing. In all of the cabins there will be bunk beds. Two of the cabins have slightly wider (4.1ft) lower bunk beds and where possible we will allocate these to couples. Four cabins have an ensuite bathroom with WC and shower.

What happens if I arrive on an early flight?

You'll be greeted and transferred straight to the boat once you've cleared immigration.

Are there any health requirements or vaccinations needed?

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 75 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
