Our tour guide Mercedes was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful with restaurant and activity recommendations. Overall the itinerary was good. One suggestion I would make is to spread out some scheduled activities over a couple of days. There were some days where too much was planned in one day so it was difficult to cover everything well. Then a whole day was left as free time which was too much. Our guide was able to move things around so that we had less free time on one day but able to do everything well. I enjoyed strolling around Lisbon and Coimbra was also a lovely place to visit. The hotel in Lisbon was very good and excellently situated. This tour is rated as a Full on Pace. You can expect the tour to be packed with activities and experiences, moving on quickly from place to place with lots of early starts and long, busy days. Once we're in the cities our explorations are mostly done on foot, the terrain can be hilly and uneven so please bring sensible footwear and be prepared for the busy nature of this enthralling holiday. On these days you can expect 20,000-30,000 steps per day. A good level of fitness is recommended due to the amount of walking, hills and early starts. We generally do not recommend our tours for those with mobility issues. We do also use a variety of public transport and taxis on this tour and you would need to be responsible for carrying your own luggage.

Flights are not included in this tour however transfers from the airport to the hotel are. All the accommodation is included and you have 7 nights in a comfortable hotel. You also get 7 breakfasts included and the tour leader will suggest places for lunch and dinner.
