Would you have estimates about the price for 2 people? Also, I would like to know the conditions of this train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai.

Unfortunately we have stopped operating this trip. We do however have a similar trip - Best of Northern Thailand and this also uses a train from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. On the train we travel in 2nd A/c sleeper, where the seats convert into a bunk bed configuration one above the other, with a privacy curtain to pull across the entire bed to separate you from the cabin. Toilets are western in style and are at either end of the carriage.

      TravelerWritten June 2022

I can't find an answer to my question. I don't see any sightseeing in Chiang Rai. Is there any? It looks like we get there at night. Do we get to see the White Temple? Do all hotels have A/C?

    • Explore!OperatorWritten June 2022

We do stay in Chiang Rai on the 4th night but there isn't an included visit to the white temple. The temple is about 20 minutes drive from the hotel so if you wished to visit you can do so as we have the evening free to explore the night market or for your own choice. The hotels either have air condition or fans.
