We are looking to do an adventure of Cambodia around the end of July start of August and are very keen to do your 14 day tour around Cambodia but notice there are no dates available, does this mean you dont do tours at this time or you do tours at this time with a different price?. We are open to any ideas or suggestions, we would love to see some real countryside as well as.

Unfortunately, we do not have any dates for that time on that tour. We may have more come out in February or March but as of now we do not have anything for July/August due to seasonality. We do have the Cambodia Experience, and Essential Vietnam & Cambodia tour that does during July and August.

How many travellers have already booked this tour? Among those, are there any solo travellers? What is the minimum number of participants required for the tour to go ahead / start as scheduled?

The Ultimate Cambodian Adventure has 4 single travelers confirmed so far (all female, ages range from 1960s, 1970s, 1990s), North American and Europeans. All of our trips are guaranteed to run!

Are tips mandatory for the tour?

Tipping is appreciated but not mandatory. Recommendations range from $40-50 for the entire tour.

Can I pay in a different currency for the trip?

Payment can be made in your local currency; contact us for more details.

Is insurance mandatory for the tour?

Travel insurance is mandatory for all travelers participating in the tour.

What accommodation will we have on the tour?

Accommodation varies by trip type; upgrades may be available based on your package.

The maximum group size for the tour is 16; currently, there are a few travelers booked.

What is the tipping policy

It is customary in Asia to tip service providers such as waiters, at approximately 10%, depending on the service. Tipping is expected - though not compulsory - and shows an expression of satisfaction with the people who have assisted you on your tour. Recommendations for tipping drivers and local guides would range from $1.5-$3.5 USD per person per day depending on the quality and length of the service. At the end of each trip if you felt your G Adventures CEO did an outstanding job, tipping is appreciated. The amount is entirely a personal preference, however as a guideline $20-25 USD per person, per week can be used.

Can I extend my stay at the hotel after the tour?

Yes, you can book additional nights at the hotel for a cost.

My friend and I had a great time. Our group was only 8 people. We represented all age groups and were from the USA, Canada, Australia, Austria, and Germany. We had the best-ever tour guide, Ratha Van. He was one of the best tour guides I have ever had. He went far and beyond for us and went with us every place. He knew where to stop and made additional arrangements for us on our time off. He could not have done more for us. We made new best friends and stayed in touch after our trip. I would suggest that you plan your trip carefully to be sure you match up your activity ability with the difficulty of each trip. Our was a level 2 and worked out well. Others told me I could easily do a 3 but I would certainly not go for a 4 or a 5. Make sure you match up to not overdo your ability. I plan on doing many more trips.Show more

  if we were to look at the other options of dates how would you best describe the weather for March, April, September and October? We ask that as we come from the south of New Zealand and im sure we wouldnt handle extreme heat!

  I would probably recommend going in March if you were wanting to go since the weather would be a lot less humid and less chances of rain
  
  March- marking the end of the cool season with rising temperatures average 23-34°C with lower humidity
  April- extremely hot, marking the end of the dry season, with temperatures often reaching 35-40°C with a lot of humidity
  September- wet and warm, deep in the monsoon season, with frequent, heavy rain showers (often short bursts, but all-day rain is possible) and high humidity, averaging around 26-28°C
  October- warm, humid weather with high chances of rain, though showers become shorter and less intense as the month progresses. Temperatures around 27-31°C

Payment information
- For any tour departing before March 28th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after March 28th, 2026, a minimum payment of 20% is required to confirm your booking with G Adventures. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 45 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and G Adventures will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
