Beijing
Your private guide and driver will meet you at Beijing airport after customs. From there, you'll head to your hotel and have the rest of the day to relax and shake off the travel fatigue.

Beijing
Begin at Tiananmen Square, then walk through the Forbidden City to see where China's rulers once lived during the feudal era. After a welcome lunch at a local restaurant, you'll head to Yonghe Temple. Later in the day, finish up at the Temple of Heaven before heading back.

Beijing
Start early heading to Mutianyu Great Wall with a round-trip cable car included. On your way back to the city, stop by the Olympic Stadium (Bird's Nest) for some photos. This afternoon brings a 40-minute rickshaw ride through the historic Hutong area near Shichahai, plus a look inside a traditional family home before returning to your hotel.

Beijing to Xi'an
This morning you'll see the Summer Palace, an imperial garden with interesting architecture and grounds. After that, you'll head to the railway station to catch a high-speed train to Xi'an. Your guide will be waiting when you arrive and will take you straight to your hotel.

Xi'an
Following breakfast at your hotel, you'll head to the Terracotta Army, an underground project built over 2,200 years ago. You can visit the home of the person who first discovered it and work with a local artisan to make your own small clay warrior. In the afternoon, check out the Provincial History Museum. If you have energy left, the Great Tang All Day Mall is there for evening shopping and food.

Xi'an to Guilin
You'll start at City Wall Park to see how local people spend their time, then walk along the well-preserved City Wall for views across the city. Next comes the Great Mosque and the Muslim Bazaar beside it, where lunch is served and you can find souvenirs and local food. On the way to the airport that afternoon, you'll stop at Han Yang Ling Museum before flying to Guilin, where your guide meets you at the airport and takes you to your hotel.

- Day 7
Guilin - Yangshuo - Guilin
You'll board a scenic Li River cruise leaving Guilin at 9:00 AM and arriving in Yangshuo around 2:00 PM. A box lunch is provided during the journey so you can take in the landscape views. Once in Yangshuo, you'll do a countryside tour by bike or car (your choice) to see rural scenery, then return to Guilin for the night.

Guilin to Shanghai
You'll see the Reed Flute Cave with its rock formations like stalagmites, stalactites, pillars and flowers created over time. Later you'll fly to Shanghai, where your guide will meet you at the airport and take you to the Bund waterfront with its European-style buildings. Before heading to your hotel, you'll take a Huangpu River cruise in the evening.
