My wife and I, 70 years, intend to visit Portugal in October. We wish a coach tour including accommodation. We can travel from home country to either Lisbon or Porto, and back, so we will take care of own flights, but otherwise would require everything else. Intend to be in Portugal for around one week, maximum 9 days. What can you offer?

We have 2 spots available on our October 31, 2024 and 4 spots available on our November 2, 2024 departures. This tour starts and ends in Lisbon. You will book your flights into and out of Lisbon, Portugal. We cover your transportation (while on tour), hotel stays and meals (breakfast for 8 days and dinner for 5 days). We offer arrival and departure transfers at that rate of $35 USD per person per transfer.

What are the add on options on this tour?

Our optional excursions are not available until 60 days prior to the departure date you select. As of today we have Unforgettable Evening in Lisbon: Fado Music and Dinner, Cascais, Cape Roca and Queluz Palace and Douro River Cruise and Dinner. Please know, these excursions are not confirmed and available for purchase until 60 days prior to departure.

Do you operate this adventure in April 2025?

This tour only has departure dates during the off season (January - March and October - December).

I'm looking for a group tour for our adult family of 7 people, ranging in age from 42-75. We are looking to travel in March or April 2025.

We are a family of 3. Myself, my wife and our 14 years old daughter. We are looking at Portuguese escape tour from 20th Jan to 28th of Jan 2024. We like to know if we can extend the Lisbon hotel for one day in our cost and also if we can leave our luggage when we arrive to Lisbon and take them when we are back to Lisbon at the end of the tour. We will have too much luggage and it is not easy to take them all with us in the tour. Also how are the beddings in the hotel rooms for 3 people?

The cost to extend the Lisbon accommodation at the start or end of the tour is $76.00 per person in a triple room. A triple room is usually the same size as a twin room, with beds to accommodate three. We cannot guarantee there will be three separate beds. If there are only two beds, a rollaway bed may be requested, but cannot be guaranteed.

What airlines fly direct ny to lisbon

We are unable to book flights for you. As of today, direct flights from JFK to LIS were through Air France, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines and Virgin Atlantic. We ask that you please not book flights until your booking has been confirmed.

Overall well organized and smoothly executed tour. The tour guide (referred to as tour director) provided lots of information not only in regards to the destinations but also about life in Portugal in general. Couple of not so great items: 1) Dedicating less than half a day to sightseeing Lisbon is a misunderstanding. Filling the rest of that day with optional, overpriced activities felt like a cash grab. 2) Hotels were very good with one exception - the Double Tree by Hilton hotel in Lisbon was designed for looks but at a great expense of the functionality. The depressing, overwhelming black color made the hallway look like some dystopian futuristic jail. Many tour participants expressed the same/similar opinion. This hotel should be changes for future tours. 3) Calculating and expecting exorbitant (especially for Portugal) tips for the tour guide and the driver left some bad aftertaste.....Show more

  Can we know the hotel name in Lisbon so i can contact them direct about holding our luggage. Also regarding the departure date of 20th of Jan 2024, when do you know if this will be a guaranteed departure or not. The reason is that we will be buying the flights according to these dates and they are non refundable flights so we need to be 100% sure that the tour is operating at these dates.
