      July to August

      Peru’s peak season is highlighted by sunny days, bright blue skies, and little to no rain. With pleasant temperatures throughout the country, this is the ideal time for hiking and trekking adventures.

    2. Low Season

      January to April

      During Peru’s rainy season, the water levels are high but the average temperatures remain around 22° C (in Lima). Visitors can enjoy fewer crowds and possibly even lower flight or hotel prices.

    • Are there any travel restrictions for Peru?

      Before travelling to Peru, please fill out the electronic health form. Everyone 12 years or older must present a valid vaccination card proving that the required doses were completed up to 14 days prior to departure. Otherwise, travellers must show proof of a negative PCR test issued up to 72 hours before the flight.     • Do I need a visa to visit Peru?

      Many travellers including Australian, Canadian, UK, and US citizens do not require a tourist visa and can stay in Peru for a maximum length of 183 days.     • Which currency is used in Peru?

      The national currency of Peru is the Peruvian Sol (S). The currency code is PEN. It is advisable to take some soles with you before you go, but it is safe to withdraw money at banks or ATMs while you're there.
