All hotels were okay. All days the package was there when we arrived. For us is 9:00 am to early to set the suitcases ready for transport. Especially if you see at 10 that they are still there. At the last day there was a trainstrike. We noticed ourself but it was good if we get a warming of the tourorganisation.

The hotel wreaked of cigarette smoke and they were not prepared for pescatorian meals there were very few options for us in this regard. As well, though friendly the hosts did not speak Rnglish and it was hard to communicate with them. Also we were not provided with 2 boot walking notes and had to request them after we arrived so we could determine which walks to do.

The beauty of the lakes countryside cannot be overstated. With every turn, every climb, every downhill, we were amazed by the wonders of rural Germany. We could only hope for more miles of touring, as every pedal was a delight. But yes, we could only hope for more miles, for despite asking for and signing up for what we thought was a `sporty' ride with days of 40 to 60 miles of pedaling, Tourradar provided us with the regular Munich lakes ride. This meant days of 15 to 40 miles of biking. Our roads did not go on forever, but stopped in three or four hours. While we alerted the company of this prior to the ride, we never received the tour maps or GPS for longer rides. Another concern we had was the amount of gravel bikeways. We were surprised by how they predominated somedays, and were sometimes bewildered by what constitutes a gravel path. Paths with rocks the size of your fist doesn't come to mind when you think of gravel roadways. We would be remiss if we did not mention the Tourradar staff. Even with our concerns about the tour, each staff person we dealt with was kind, understanding, and wanting to be helpful. We sincerely appreciated their help and efforts, even though they were unable to provide the tour we requested.

Small tour group with an exceptionally knowledgeable guide. He knew the best places to stop for food/beer and navigated us through any queues! Such beautiful places to explore (Rothenburg & Residenz Wurzburg were a particular highlight... we would never have visited if travelling alone) Hotels were of a high quality... particularly loved the hotel in Nuremberg (facilities & breakfast were awesome) Location of all hotels were perfect. All airport transfers were on time and very professional. Tour transport was very comfortable- Mercedes Bus. We would definitely book with Indus Travel again as they responded quickly to all queries. Miller were their local supplier in Germany we can highly recommend them - a very professional service.

Went to Oktoberfest on the second weekend of 2017 (this only gave me the option of "Oktoberfest 2018" to review) and it was AMAZING! Honestly this was probably the best weekend of my life. Munich and Oktoberfest was probably the best weekend of my life. We stayed at a nice hostel that was clean (looked new) and stayed with my friends in our room and had a private bathroom. Breakfast overall was good and you could eat as much as you want. Our hostel location was about 10 minutes to the Oktoberfest so it was super easy and great. During the weekend we were offered a beer walking tour of the old town (we had beer included in the tour), and also a trip to the Dachau concentration camp. Two totally different things but were appreciated to see different sides of the city and also to get some history and culture instead of just Oktoberfest. The trip leaders were really friendly and helpful and each day offered to take us to the Oktoberfest in the morning to show us the best beer tents and gave us tips while there from what to eat to some words to the some of the beer songs (the ones you hear non stop). The first day we even had a few beers with our leader which was really fun, and then we left to go on the rides at the festival. One tip - go early to get in line for the tents on Saturday. It gets super busy early and you don't want to wait in line! Would definitely recommend this trip as Munich and Oktoberfest are beautiful and super fun and Euroadventures put together a great trip and great itinerary.
- by NinaDid Oktoberfest with Euroadventures (second weekend of the festival at the end of September 2017 - though in this review it only gave me the option of "Oktoberfest 2018"). What an experience! Honestly one of the most fun weekends of my life. Munich and the festival can't be put into words. Everything was great about the trip from the accommodations (nice, clean, modern hostel with really easy access to Oktoberfest only about 10 min. to get there), fun offered tours like a beer walking tour of the old town (we had included beer during the tour), to visiting the Dachau concentration camp. Beyond that our trip leaders took us to the Oktoberfest, showed us the best tents, what to eat, what the drinking songs were and even drank a bit with us. We had plenty of free time to enjoy Oktoberfest but also had options to see things in Munich when we wanted. Really a great trip!

Not all heroes where capes, some of em wear Cape Stokes hoodies. Lily ran the show as a bartender.
The tents were cold and wet, the breakfast was average*, but I still managed to have the best time of my life and would not only do it again, but recommend it to anybody! *they fixed that by the end of my stay though

This is one of the best holidays I have had! I loved everything about this Bike Planet Tour holiday-the itinerary was fantastic, our guides Rikko, Lennie and Harm-Jan were exceptional, food and lodging were terrific and the scenery and architecture in Germany was so beautiful. This was my first time biking in a very long time and biking in Germany was such a treat -paved bike paths, separated from the car traffic, mostly flat landscape. I felt so safe the entire time! I highly recommend this tour group for your next bike trip. I will definitely be signing up for another trip by this group
- by Catherine McCubbin~ 500kms of smiles, laughter, peddling, huffing and puffing, coffee and kuchen stops and heart beating fun on the Romantic Road to the Alps! Thank you Bike Planet Tours (Lenny Versteeg, Rikko Bulten and Harm-Jan Bosklopper) and to each of the members of this tour group for making this tour the best! It’s not where you go but WHO you travel with! I highly recommend bike planet tours. We are treated to great hotels, 4 and 5 course meals, and informative tours! We are never rushed or hurrried yet we keep on moving. Although there is a planned itinerary, the guides connect easily with local folks that provides a unique and special experience. The daily coffee and cake/pastries stop each morning was simply lovely and something that each of us looked forward to each day.

Our Tourradar/Sherpa Expeditions hiking tour was King Ludwig's Way (26 July through 2 August). That my son, Michael, and I enjoyed it very much is perhaps an understatement. We had no mishaps and had very co-operating weather. We were exposed to and learned much of Bavarian landscape, history, and culture. Our travel arrangements were well thought-out, planned, and executed. Upon subsequent review of your other hiking tours, I find that many are of similar nature and format. I will certainly be making use of them in the near future! David and Michael McCloy North Carolina and Texas, USA

The tour was advertised as English speaking. We were the only English speaking passengers on board however the CrosiEuropre team all had English and provided an English speaking guide for all the onshore excursions. The boat was at maximum capacity for passengers however it was too much for the seating in the Salon and Dining rooms. These areas were very cramped and the Salon staff were very too busy. The food and staff were excellently. The towns visited on the cruise were excellent choices.
