Will we be joining a group or need to be a group? What is the age of the boat and what kind?

On our scheduled departures, you don't need to be a group, you can book your cabin and sail with fellow travel companions. Our groups are up to 8 guests on board, so very intimate groups. The yachts we operate our sailing trips with are between 42 and 48 ft long with max 4 cabins for guests and 1 cabin for the crew and they are built between 2015 and 2022 (we use new boats).

can a single female both this trip?

Sure, we do have solo travelers joining our sailing trips. If you wish to book your own cabin, just choose the single room option when you proceed with booking (there is an extra charge if you wish to have your own cabin). If you don't mind sharing cabin with another solo female traveler, then we'll do our best to match you with someone else.

Im looking to book a sailing trip for me and my son (he will be 13yrs then ) next summer. I wondered if it is the same price for a child as it is for an adult?

We do offer 10% discount for kids up to 12 years old, so I am afraid you would have to pay the full price. We are flexible however and we might be able to offer a small discount of 5% as a kind gesture for an early booking.

Cost of sole occupancy of a cabin?

The cost of single occupancy is approx. 600€ but we could offer a good discount (200-250€ off), depending on the tour date you are interested in and our availability.

Also, can we start in one destination and finish in another. Eg. If we start in Athens on the Sat but finish in Mykonos or Santorini on the Wed, and we will then make our own way back to Athens later on.

Hi, It is 4 adults and 3 children, total of 7 people (not 10). That price is higher than expected, but perhaps that was for a larger boat? Ideal dates would be April 22, 23,24,25 in 2023. Thanks,

Our captain Kostas and tour guide Danae were totally fantastic. We lived on board their Bavaria 49 sailboat for a whole week, and totally enjoyed everything. The fresh hand-prepared breakfast and lunch served each day was delicious and filling, with a nice variety. Our tour guide Danae arranged several fascinating tours on islands we visited. Kostas is a master sailor and also superb at the art of Mediterranean mooring, required at all the islands we stopped at. Most days we stopped midday and anchored for a swim, a real plus. Though wind was light and on several days we motored, we got some great hands on sailing on several of the days. Both Kostas and Danae were gracious, easy to talk to, and helpful in so many ways. it was an experience of a lifetime and one we will long remember!Show more

They are young, fun and professional. Beautiful boat, water, islands, and villages. My sister and I are in our 70’s, cousin 60 and the remaining passengers 50’s and 30’s. So good trip for all ages. You can’t beat the money value of this trip. It includes breakfast and most lunches. I would love to do this trip again.Show more

  Sorry for another message. When I was first looking at this trip, it was £1000 ish, but now it appears to have jumped to £1700 ish for next August, per person. Is this right?

  Our children discount applies to kids up to 12 years old (that means 11.999 y.o.), so I assume that has already passed. We have updated our prices for next year and the increase reflects: a) the sharp increase in the fuel prices, which have doubled the budget for fuel and b) and most important, we have upgraded significantly the fleet we will be using from next year onwards for the absolute safety and comfort of our guests.

  If you wish to leave the yacht in Mykonos (Santorini is too far by sailing yacht to be there within 3-4 days from Athens), then there would just be the extra charge for the crew for an extra day to return the yacht back to its base. This would be 350 euro cash to the crew.

  If you are 7 travelers in total, you would need a 5cabin yacht (4 cabins for you and 1 for the crew). The total price including the yacht charter, skipper for 4 days, cleaning fee, fuel consumption and marina/water/electricity expenses would be around 5.820 euro for all of you, which means 1.455 euro / day -> approx. 200euro per person per day.

Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 16th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 16th, 2026, a minimum payment of 10% is required to confirm your booking with Trails Beyond. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Trails Beyond will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
