    On day 4, there's an Optional Experience "Spend a Day Checking Out the Phi Phi Islands & Maya Bay" which guest will have opportunities for some snorkelling & swimming. The price is 1850.00 THB per adult. Optional Experiences are unable to be pre-purchased prior to their tour. It can only be booked with the Travel Director at the commencement of the trip. Our Trip Manager will be able to recommend the Optional Experiences best suited to each and every guest's specific needs and interests. Payment for Optional Experience can be made by cash in the local currency of the trip. Debit/credit card payments can be used as well and it will be charged in local currency. We recommend advising your bank/card provider that you will be travelling overseas to avoid any restrictions or inconveniences whilst travelling.

  Do the accommodations provide refrigerators for medication storage? Is there access to freezer compartments for ice packs at the hotels? How long do the transfers between Phuket, Krabi, and Ko Phi Phi take?

    Contiki's hotels are typically standard mid-range properties. While many offer fridges in rooms, there's no guarantee of having a dedicated freezer compartment for ice packs. If refrigeration is essential, let us know in advance, and we'll request room fridges or assist with alternative storage solutions. Transfer times: Phuket to Koh Phi Phi ~1 to 2 hours by ferry or speedboat, Koh Phi Phi to Krabi ~45 minutes to 1 hour by ferry or speedboat, Krabi to Phuket ~2 to 3 hours overland by bus/minivan/ferry combo.

  We are arriving into phuket 11th October in the morning and was interested in this Itinery. we would have to leave just one day early to fly back on the 17th. We read that it is better to book with Contiki ? is this possible

    Since you'll be arriving in Phuket on the morning of October 11, 2025, which is the first day of the tour, you're perfectly timed, the tour officially kicks off at 6:00 PM, so it's absolutely feasible for you to join. If you plan to leave one day early on October 17, just let us know once you have a booking so we can make a note of it. You'll also be able to coordinate the early departure directly with your Trip Manager during the tour to ensure everything runs smoothly. Please note that the tour pricing will be the same, even if you depart early, as it's a guided tour with a set itinerary.

    The arrival transfer we offer is chargeable only which cost USD 39.00 for solo travellers. If you will be making purchases on tour, having their local currency is strongly recommended. Lots of our accommodations offer laundry facilities. There is a small fee for laundry services and detergent. The Twin Share Room option will be a shared room for same gender solo travellers. Your visa requirements can change depending on your citizenship. For safety reasons, we do have First Aid kits available on the Motorcoach.

    This tour will have its kick-start meeting on day one at approximately 6:00 PM, kindly look for a different flight. On the last day, we do not recommend booking a flight leaving Phuket airport before 2:30 PM. One complimentary drop-off at either the start hotel in Phuket or Phuket International Airport (HKT) will be provided on the last day.

We are pleased to offer a complimentary transfer from the airport to the hotel; simply provide us with your flight details so we can include this in your booking.     For arrival, the transfer we offer is a chargeable one. We have an option to be picked up from Phuket International Airport (HKT) to the hotel on the first day of the tour. If you have booked a pre accommodation at a hotel different from the hotel at the start of the tour, you can still book a transfer through us, but you will need to make your own way from the start hotel to your pre-booked hotel.

    The kick start meeting will be approximately 18:00 at the Sawaddi Patong Resort Phuket on first day. Please make sure you have registered in the Contiki portal. There are documents needed that are only available through the Contiki portal on their website.
