We are a tour operator running group tours and our tour tend to attract people around 18-39 years old from solo travelers, couple or travel buddies. We have fixed itinerary for Bali and Philippines and the tour is English-Speaking tour. At the moment we are not specialized in custom private tour so unfortunately we won't be able to help you this time.

6 females has signed up for November 12th and they are mix between early 20 to late 20s mainly from Germany. The restaurants on the tour have Halal options on their menu. There will be airport pick up on the start of the tour but drop off to airport will be at your own expense. Yes you will be added to group chat by your group leader. Our tours combine a great mix of culture, fun, and adventure so party night will be depends on the group dynamic.

The average age of our travelers is typically between 18–35. For the 1st of October departure, we already have guests in their mid-20s to early 30s, and it looks like you'd be a fantastic addition to the group.

Can you tell me which nationalities and ages are joining the trip on 27 august and 3 september? Is it also possible to have a single room for myself?

For August 27th we have 11 people booked, mostly in their mid-20s from Germany and Switzerland. For September 3rd, there's a group of 6 girls from Germany, mainly in their late 20s to early 30s. Are you a guy or a girl, and do you prefer being in a bigger group or a smaller one?

Are kids allowed? Is the charge the same for kids as for adults? We do not need extra bedding for the kid, a king bed is sufficient for us.

If you arrive earlier, just book a night at our first accommodation to get the pick-up otherwise, you'll need to arrange your own transfer. We were quite disappointed to see that this trip was advertised as “almost sold out” months in advance, yet during the actual trip, there were only three of us. Due to the war in the Middle East, one or two additional participants were unable to travel to Asia, but even then, the group would not have exceeded five people—which does not match the idea of being “almost fully booked.” If you are planning to book this trip solo, keep in mind that the group may be much smaller than expected (not necessarily 10+ people). Additionally, we were only able to join the trip four days late because of the war. While Wanderlands was understanding from an organizational perspective, unfortunately they did not offer any financial compensation or adjustment. Our guide was friendly and able to answer questions. However, it was noticeable that he seemed somewhat dissatisfied with our small group of girls. Since the three of us were not particularly interested in partying, he repeatedly tried to encourage us to go out and drink alcohol. It felt like he struggled to read the situation and understand that we had different expectations for the trip. There were also moments where he seemed unreliable—for example, he said he would join us for meals and then didn’t show up. At times, he would sit with us during meals but watch shows loudly on his phone, which gave the impression that he forgot he was working. That being said, we don’t think he is a bad guide, but he might be better suited for larger groups. On a positive note, we saw a lot of Bali with Wanderlands, and the hotels were nice—especially the one in Lombok. A quick note for those who are gluten-free: breakfast options at the hotels are quite limited (mostly just eggs), but almost every restaurant offers gluten-free choices, and the guide is very helpful in assisting with this. Indonesia in general has many restaurants that offer gluten-free dishes such as pasta and pizza.Show more

Firstly I would like to address your concern regarding tour numbers. It's incredibly frustrating for everyone, including us as a team, that numbers were lower than expected during that tour. A combination of low tourism during the rainy season and travel disruption due to the unforeseen, and sadly ongoing, conflict in the Middle East meant that numbers on this tour were negatively impacted. I can see however that you booked through a third party and not directly. We are often contacted directly by guests asking us to confirm numbers prior to any potential booking being made, this is the simplest and most accurate way to ensure a busier group - We also make guests aware that the busiest time of year for bookings across all tour companies is May to September. With regards to financial compensation. It is a requirement for all guests to purchase travel insurance prior to joining our tours, and heavily advised to purchase said travel insurance prior to making any bookings with any company. Wanderlands will always refund guests for any cancellations or schedule changes within their control. Travel insurance will ensure financial compensation for anything beyond our control. We would at this point like to make it clear that we deny any involvement with any ongoing conflict pertaining to the Middle East or anywhere else in the world. When it was made clear that your travel arrangements would be affected our Operations Manger contacted you and all other affected guests directly, to help you reschedule transport and accommodation provisions. They also made it apparent that we as a company would help to provide any supporting evidence should you decide to make a claim against your travel insurance. As of yet we have received no contact regarding any insurance claims nor has a request for any supporting documentation been made. In essence, adjustments were made for you and advice regarding financial compensation was given. When it comes to gluten free food this can be tricky anywhere in the world but we are pleased to hear that our guide was able to help with restaurants that catered to your dietary requirements. All hotels offer gluten free breakfast options, such as eggs, rice dishes, fresh fruit and pancakes made without wheat flour. Finally, I would like to make it clear that our guides are told not to encourage people to drink alcohol if they do not want to and that watching TV on their phone at the dinner table is strange and unacceptable. This will be addressed directly so thank you for bringing that to our attention. I hope this reply has gone some way to clarify a few points that you raised.   There is no baggage restriction however we always recommend to pack in a medium rucksack or cabin baggage. Since you'll be the one carrying it, please bring suitcase that you're comfortable with. Also we will be moving places 2-3 days and the only time you will carry it is when we check in or out the hotel and off to the bus or boat.

  That's totally fine, some of our guests don't know how to swim either. Snorkeling is beginner-friendly even for non swimmers. you float with a life jacket and enjoy the view from the surface. Our guides are always standby to watch everyone and help, so you'll feel safe the whole time.   For the 1st of October, we've got a great mix of 3 males and 6 females, ranging from their mid-20s to early 30s. So far, the group includes travelers from Ireland and Germany. Our tours usually attract people from across Canada and Europe, especially Germany and Switzerland.

  For August 27th we have 11 people booked, mostly in their mid-20s from Germany and Switzerland. For September 3rd, there's a group of 6 girls from Germany, mainly in their late 20s to early 30s. Are you a guy or a girl, and do you prefer being in a bigger group or a smaller one?

Are kids allowed? Is the charge the same for kids as for adults? We do not need extra bedding for the kid, a king bed is sufficient for us.

I saw there's a spot available for 11th June. Please confirm if we have to reach on 11th June to Bali? Or 12th. I am solo traveller. Is it a mix group or only females? Will our team leader a local? I am vegetarian. Are the meals options available? Is the night life included in this? Eg: clubs & parties. Also, is there any possible better price that can be offered to book it immediately?

  Please arrive on June 11 (Day 1) or the day before. We'll arrange a free airport pick-up if you land on the 11th. If you arrive earlier, just book a night at our first accommodation to get the pick-up otherwise, you'll need to arrange your own transfer. It'll be a fun mixed group (guys & girls) with an experienced local leader. We cater to all dietary needs: veg, vegan, gluten-free, and more. This date is currently 20% off make it AUD 1,479.20 / USD 968 includes all excursions, accommodation, transport, and some meals (clubs and parties not included).

  Yes! Although we didn't offer that as an optional activities, it is absolutely possible to do cleansing ceremony. There will be day where you can have Free time to do things you keen. Have you found anyone that can take you to the cleansing ceremony?

- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before July 15th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 15th, 2026, a minimum payment of $145 is required to confirm your booking with Wanderlands Travel. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Wanderlands Travel will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Wanderlands Travel" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
