  Local guides were incredible. Timing of the tours could have been made more explicit with timelines, we got caught unaware a few times and were unprepared for the day. I think the killing fields and s21 should be included or at least presented as an option as well.Show more

  I love the care and thoroughness that tour radar puts into my tour. The fact I am relieved of the stress of finding nice hotels, understandable English speaking tour guides, drivers and cars, airport transfers, and paying for all the entrance fees at the sites I want to visit, all at great prices is wonderful. At night we shared our day eventuates with others on the pool and I heard horror stories off overpriced tours, no transfers and poor hotels that I could not resist telling them to use Tour Radar in the future. They contract with great companies that really strive to make every day special. I also appreciated the fact they scheduled into our tour sufficient time for us to rest up or explore each location on our own. The guides always indicated safe places for meals and walking about the cities too. So helpful. Will definitely stay with Tour Radar.Show more

  Before I even arrived on this trip, Hoi An Express was a hot mess. They emailed my EMERGENCY CONTACT because I didn't reply to an email for two days - a month before the trip. WTF? When I replied to that apparently urgent email, they said that they already had all of the info they needed. I have no idea why they emailed my emergency contact, but it was ridiculous. Even though I sent my arrival information no one was at the bus station to get me. Apparently calling the bus company to check the arrival time was too much for Hoi An Express to handle. I had to wait 30 minutes for a ride to arrive. I had one guide in Siem Reap and another guide in Phnom Penh. The guide in Siem Reap, Phearin, was completely useless. He timed our sunrise morning at Angkor Wat wrong and we missed the sunrise. He didn't speak English well enough to explain basic facts. He wasn't knowledgeable at all, and at one point said that I would need to hire another guide if I wanted to learn about the temples. He was aloof, stupid, and just a total dud. I spent $97 so that I could return to Angkor Wat to actually see the sunrise. Additionally, they said that the hotel in Siem Reap would have a pool, but when I arrived signage indicated that the pool was closed all three days of my stay. I booked another hotel with a functioning pool. I was given no credit and no refund, even though not being able to access the pool when its 90 degrees is a pretty major issue. In Phnom Penh the tour guide was good. The hotel "upgraded me" (not really) and my room was across the street from very very loud construction, when I called to complain at 11pm they did move me. Other guests at the hotel had warned me that the construction goes on all night. I would not recommend this tour company. They just want your money, they don't care about your experience.Show more

And to start with fuck and calling the guide an idiot, is nowhere near constructive critisism. Kindly see our response to your comments below. 1. We confirmed your booking on 13 Apr 19 and you responded on 24 Apr 19. It is our responsibility to reach for customers to collect required documents. Sometimes travellers booked tour a year in advance and contacted us a few days prior to departure date. Thus we could not guarantee services as promised. They put the blame on us as we could not stay at the same hotel as other groups. Will you not do the same if we ignore your silence? 2. Talking about travelling by road, there are so many factors taken into account such as traffic jam, delay in departure or fast driving. Your bus had been supposed to arrive at 14:00. Unfortunately, it arrived earlier than expected. Even we call the operator, they would not know the exact arrival time. We also tried our best to pick you up as soon as you informed us. 3. We apology for any inconvenience or frustration that your hotels have caused you. However, you did not advise us that you "definately need a pool" at your hotel. We could not control what happen at hotel during your stay. Thus, you have changed hotel without consulting us first. How would we refund for you in this situation? Your feedback is highly appreciated. On the other hand, you need to clear between our fault and third parties' ones which were out of our control. We would have fixed things up for you if you had given us a chance to consult first. Last but not least, to ensure that our staff conducts themselves in a manner that reflects the high regard that we have for our customers, we have notified the proper department of your complaint in regards to guide in Siem Reap. We will investigate into this matter and get back to you shortly.

  The tour guide "forgot " to pick me up from the airport on arrival in Seam Reap and did not make contact with me for another 2 days after I sent numerous emails. The tour guide then told me it wasn't his fault. reimbursing me the money for the taxi but not for the sim card and phone credit I purchased to try to contact him. The tour was advertised as a 6 day tour with private transport, however the tour comprised of 3 half day tours and transport on a public bus. Sunrise at Angkor Wat was missed as the tour guide was late with travellers not booked on the 6 day tour. The accommodation in Seam Reap was great and the hotel staff exceptionally helpful in trying to get in touch with the tour guide. However the accommodation in Phnom Penh was average. I needed to request the bedding changed when I arrived as there was blood on the bedding. Sadly quite disappointing.Show more

  Very enjoyable tour! We were only in Cambodia about 2 weeks, so doing the 6 day tour felt like a good balance between touring and free time. Eadh day of the tour, you get plenty of free time as well, so it never felt rushed. Pirun was a great guide! (I hope I spelled his name right!) Very friendly, knowledgable, clearly very passionate about Khmer people. I wish you the best!!Show more
