More details of the Diwali tour 2022. I need to add 1 day in Varanasi and 1/2 day in Gaya. Suggestions?

Yes you can definitely add Varanasi and Gaya to this Itinerary. To add these places, you will need to add atleast 3 days as distance from Varanasi to Gaya is around 5-6 hrs so you will need to stay in Gaya as well.

Absolutely very bad. Please future customers of Gets Holidays, ask them to furnish you the names of accommodations and the location of these accommodations. Do your research whether the hotels they will put you in is acceptable for you or not. Every individual has their own budget and their own level of tolerance and acceptance of accommodation. Ask them out of the cost of the whole package that they quote you,How much are they alloting for your accommodation. Research the area and what are the comparable rates of hotels. For sure, as a tour company they have pool of accommodations where they pay a special rate than an individual traveller. We made this mistake with them. When we costed our trip, it looks like gets holidays spent not even half of what we paid for, for the accommodation, car and driver and tour guides. We asked gets holidays to give us a copy of the breakdown of expenses and they said they are not allowed to furnish us one. The tour guides and the driver were brilliant during our trip, but don’t they just tell you the hardships of their lives hoping that you’ll feel sorry for them and give them a better tip. They will also take you to unnecessary shopping trips even when you say you’re not interested to go shopping. The places where they take you for meals will be places where they have commissions. Our tour guide in Jaipur know nothing about our Diwali arrangements in the evening. GeTs Holidays is more like ForGeTS holidays to us. For sure you’ll have better experience than us with this company if you choose a group tour instead of a private tour and if you push GeTS holidays to be more transparent with the accommodation that they will assign you from the start. Remember, ask the name of the hotels, it’s location, get a comparable rate in the area and find out whether the money that you pay is good value for the trip. If they are not transparent with these information then you know that they’re there to rip you off instead of giving you a good time.Show more
