Overall, the tour was good and enjoyable, but there are several points I’d like to highlight. There was too much...
Overall, the tour was good and enjoyable, but there are several points I’d like to highlight. There was too much free time in places where there was little or nothing to do, or stops so short that it was impossible to organize any meaningful activity. For example, arriving around midday and leaving the next morning at 11 a.m. in locations like Minca or Taganga did not make much sense, as there was not enough time to plan excursions or fully enjoy the destinations. A better approach might have been to stay longer in Santa Marta and offer optional excursions from there for those interested in visiting nearby places such as Taganga or Minca, which are very close. Another issue was the number of local guides in addition to our CEO. This resulted in significant extra expenses due to tipping expectations. The amount of free time throughout the trip also felt excessive. Hotel locations could also be improved, as some were not ideally situated. That said, I want to emphasize that Miguel was an excellent guide. He clearly enjoys his job, and it was a real pleasure traveling with him. The group dynamic was also very good, and we got along very well. Thank you for taking this feedback into consideration.Show more

It’s not worth of the money!! The hotels were really bad! The tour guide was doing absolutely the minimum! Too many free days!! And the National park was not open so they replaced it with water tubing, not a full day activity. They SHOULD not be selling the tour to Northern Colombia when the Park is not open, period, because there is absolutely NOTHING TO DO! Santa marta and Taganta are so RUN DOWN. Overall, Colombia is still not a safe country to travel to. One of my travelmates was drugged and robbed in Cartagena!!!Show more
