Great experience overall. But: Communication about first day meeting/pick up could be better. There were couple of us standing in the foyer of the hotel not knowing where to go. The pick up was supposed to be between 7-7:15 am and it was at around 7:45 am so we all wondered if we missed our tour. Now about what's great about this tour: our wonderful tour guide Rosella! She made this trip better, brighter and more fun! I loved the itinerary and included excursions. I met some wonderful people as well.Show more

Fantasia Tour July 18-22/22. While the tour/itinerary was Ok, the service I received from the tour guide, Carlos - with Carrani Tours, was unacceptable. The last day of our tour in Venice (Mestre) at the Hotel Delfino, we were to bring our bags down to reception at 6:30 am, go to breakfast, then get on the bus for 7:30 am. I brought my 2 bags down, left them in reception with others from my tour and proceeded to breakfast. When I came down at 7:30 (with my daughter and her luggage) to get on the bus, I noticed my luggage was not in reception and had assumed that someone had loaded them on the bus. Arrived in Rome - no luggage. Carlos provided no help at all not even a phone call to the hotel. Despicable. It then took hours to figure out how to get my luggage back. The front desk of the St. Martin Hotel, called the Delfino hotel and confirmed that they had my luggage. Having them shipped to Rome was not an option as it take over 4 days - because of the weekend. I had to take a train the next day to Venice and back - approx 10 hours, 90 euros for the train tickets and missing my pre-paid Vatican tour. What was to be a trip of a lifetime turned into a nightmare. Some wonderful people were able to help with phone calls and arranging the train tickets, as we do not speak the language. I hope to be compensated for the additional expenses.....we'll see.Show more

The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 60 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
