I am a travel advisor trying to curate a trip to Italy in February-March 2025. 8-10 nights private tour for 2 with other friends possibly joining. She is interested in a tour focused on culinary activities and culture. Can this tour be customized? She has a budget of around $5K-6K USD to include 4-5 star hotels, tours, and transportation. Cities to include possibly Milan but yes to Venice, Florence, Tuscany, Rome

Explore Southern Italy (10 days, tour code ZMSQ, starts in Amalfi so would make your own way down likely by train). Amalfi Coast: Hike & Kayak (8 days, tour code ZGXA, starts in Amalfi so would make your own way down likely by train).

Would this tour be appropriate for my kids who are age 4 and 7?

This tour is not suitable for children that young and the minumum age for this tour would be 15.

how will hotel work for single person? Airport Pick up and return back to Airport whose responsibility? generally speaking how many people in the group?

If you are traveling Solo, we can arrange a single room if you prefer (for an additional cost) or you can share with another solo traveler of the same gender. With regards to the airport transfers, Intrepid can easily add these for you (at an additional cost) so its one less thing for you to worry about while in destination. I tried Intrepid for the first time, knowing there other companies that might have more activities or service but you pay much more for that. For the price point and the variation of part of your planned but the rest open to whatever you want it hit the mark. In Venice, our hotel did not have any breakfast but it was stated on itinerary so that was inaccurate and had to pay for own breakfast two days.Show more

  We require at least 4 pax to quote a trip for most destinations, but Italy being extremely popular, we require a minimum of 8 passengers per group to request a quote. The budget provided will not be sufficient. A rough estimate of costs for a tailormade group of 4 travelling to Italy at a Comfort level of accommodations (4* like) would be around $1,200 - 1,400 USD daily per person.

  one thing is to set beside a strange person in the airplane another is sleep with stranger person in room that you do not know. if you do not charge extra for room because I am single I will consider taking the tour unless during the tour I meet a person I am comfortable with then I might share room. I have taken three vaccination. do we need PCR test. I am from USA I will be traveling to Athens on May 30 therefore June 10 - 17 will fit my schedule okay
