During the visit to Loch Ness, would we have the possibility to do a cruise on the lake even though it's not in the program?

Unfortunately, there is no time for a cruise on Loch Ness on this tour. However, you will still be able to explore the shores of Loch Ness near Fort Augustus.

Can I join with 3 years 9 months old child?

Unfortunately, we are unable to take any children under the age of 4 years old on our regularly scheduled tours.

Do we have time to tour the inside of Eilean Donan Castle or are we just driving by on this tour? And if I have more than 1 piece of luggage is there room or storage for it?

Eilean Donan castle is visited in depth on this tour. On our extended tours you are allowed to bring a medium-sized suitcase, which, in general, is between 63 and 67 centimetres in height (25 to 26 inches). As long as your luggage isn't significantly bigger than these measurements, it should be fine to use for your trip. This is necessary to ensure that luggage for all the passengers travelling on the tour can be stored safely into the hold. In addition to the medium sized suitcase, you can bring a small piece of hand luggage onto the coach itself as a carry-on allowance.

Is insurance compulsory for the tour?

Travel insurance is not compulsory but is highly recommended to cover any incidents that could prevent you from participating in the tour.

I did the Eilean Donan Castle, Loch Ness & the Glenfinnan Viaduct tour which was amazing thanks to our tour guide Andrew T! We got to see so many other places of interest along the way that there are too many to list here but Glencoe, the William Wallace Memorial and Fort William, plus not forgetting feeding some highland cows (huge animals!) We could not have asked for a better tour guide than Andrew T, knowledgeable, knew so much history and folklore, kept us all entertained the whole time and looked after us extremely well. My guide was Eddie and I'm just going to say one thing, Eddie needs a promotion and needs to be featured on the booklet. He did an outstanding job over the two days of the tour. He had the right balance of information/education/humour/conversation also he had the right balance between giving you your own space to enjoy the scenery and engage with you in a conversation. I found him very polite and pleasant to be around. Also Eddie put on a selection of Scottish music that went well with the locations we were in. It absolutely set the atmosphere and made the experience slightly enhanced. I think he had an answer to every question which was thrown at him. It was great that he was Scottish... otherwise it would not have been quite the same experience. The tour was great, well organised, efficiently run. The only downside is that I bought my tour from a souvenir shop on royal mile and the service was so atrocious that I have almost walked out without booking anything. Because of that for that I was expecting the tour to be exactly the same. However, was pleased to have been completely wrong. Please note that the shop did you no justice, had no knowledge, could not answer questions and almost cost you a customer. Show more

This travel i a little doubt. Because i saw the price is £40/adult and child is more cheaper. But i book £88/ 1 adult and 1 child.. when i book for 3 days skye highland.. i tought children is 12 years and above. So i book 2 adult. But after.. i saw the child is 16years and above. My child is have'nt 16 years. But.. because of the travel is cancelled (3 days tour skye, Loch Nesa and the Highligh) I had stress because i had no plan anymore in Edinburgh than i already spend 4 days. That why i really needed the travel go to any place is not in Edinburgh City. How much is the travel i never think it. For the price of this travel is not important... just my asking. How about my full return of the cancellation? Did tour radar will return to my bank account without any notice? Once again.... the tour Guide Mr Hermes is nice and friendly. By the way...   Thank you for replying so quickly. This is not the extended tour, just the two day tour, so I wanted to make sure the castle tour was included before I booked and we weren't just taking pictures from the outside. Can you recommend anyone who would store luggage for me?

  The Eilean Donan Castle tickets are not included in the price of the tour as entrance is optional, however, you will have approximately 1 hour 15 minutes to visit the inside of the castle if you wish. If you have more luggage than we can allow on our tour, you can store your bags at Waverley Train Station or Edinburgh Bus Station in their left luggage facilities, or you can store your surplus bags with Unbaggaged.
