Our May 14, 2026 departure is not one of our Small Group departure. We have our May 18, 2026, May 25, 2026 and June 1, 2026 listed as Small Groups. These departures will have less than 30 guest. Our regular departures can have up to 50 guest.

what are the actual numbers you take and how do you transport

all escorted vacations use a motorcoach on the touring portion of the itinerary. The number of participants can range up to 48 participants. If you are wanting to travel with a smaller group, we offer a small group departure that may have a maximum of 28 participants.

What is the maximum number of guests for a departure?

We only have space for 2 guests on some departures. Other departure dates may have more availability.

How do I confirm the hotel names for my booking?

We finalize tour arrangements approximately 30 days prior to departure and the hotel list is confirmed at that time. Please feel free to contact us again via this chat if you need more information.

How much Canadian and for the May 22nd departure

The requested departure date is at capacity. We only have space availabe for one guest and we are unable to request additional space. We do have space available on our April 24, 2025 and May 29, 2025 departures. The per person cost for the April 24, 2025 departure will be $3949 CAD plus taxes and the per sperson cost for the MAy 29, 2025 departure will be $4179 CAD plus taxes.

My wife and I are 87 years old. We are both fully mobile. We would like to be on this tour.

I'm thinking of reserving the Aug. 7th tour but was wondering why it's cheaper than some of the other dates in the summer. Is it a particularly busy time of the year or hotter than other times? Do the accommodations have air conditioning? Just wanted to know the reason for the cheaper price. Also, if I need to reschedule/cancel the tour dates, can I use the amount paid for the trip insurance and down payment as credit for another Globus tour?

The base rate for ths tour is $3539 USD total cost will be $4459 USD (base rate - $3539 plus single supplement - $1120 minus Globus promotion $200). The hotels we plan to use will have air conditioning. At the time of booking, you will be required to make a non-refundable deposit of $250 USD plus the cost for the travel insurance (optional). If you cancel the booking, you will loose your deposit and the cost for the insurance. If you decide to transfer the booking, you will need to make that change prior to your final payment, your funds will be transfered to the noew booking.

Would like detailed information about trips to Portugal. Do packages include airfare to and from Las Vegas?

Our packages do not include flights. You will be responsible for booking your flights to and from Las Vegas.

If I paid for the deposit and trip insurance and then need to cancel, is the amount I paid refundable? If not, can the amount I paid be applied as a credit to a future trip with Globus, for instance a later date or a different trip with Globus?

The deposit is nonrefundable, but we can transfer your reservation to a future departure as long as you choose to do so before the original tour's final payment deadline.

How do I make a hotel reservation for a date before the tour starts?

We do offer pre-night accommodations. The rate will be specified per person for your booking.

The tour guide (referred to as tour director) provided lots of information not only in regards to the destinations but also about life in Portugal in general. Couple of not so great items: 1) Dedicating less than half a day to sightseeing Lisbon is a misunderstanding. Filling the rest of that day with optional, overpriced activities felt like a cash grab. 2) Hotels were very good with one exception - the Double Tree by Hilton hotel in Lisbon was designed for looks but at a great expense of the functionality. The depressing, overwhelming black color made the hallway look like some dystopian futuristic jail. Many tour participants expressed the same/similar opinion. This hotel should be changes for future tours. 3) Calculating and expecting exorbitant (especially for Portugal) tips for the tour guide and the driver left some bad aftertaste.....Show more

They skipped a wine tasting in Spain and tried to make up for it with bad wine at the bad dinner  I left 3 Untuckit shirts in my hotel in Lisbon. My fault. But the hotel is suppose to check the closets. The property was stolen by either the staff or did not check the closet. The street outside the hotel was so noisy I barely slept.   I was also considering the Portugal in Depth with Azores trip and sent a similar message about whether the deposit and trip insurance are transferable if I'd need to cancel and reschedule to a different tour with Globus. I haven't heard back yet and am wondering if that trip is treated differently than the Portugal in Depth trip is.

Visa
- Unfortunately we cannot offer you a visa application service. Whether you need a visa or not depends on your nationality and where you wish to travel. Assuming your home country does not have a visa agreement with the country you're planning to visit, you will need to apply for a visa in advance of your scheduled departure.
- Here is an indication for which countries you might need a visa. Please contact the local embassy for help applying for visas to these places.
Payment information
- For any tour departing before June 19th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after June 19th, 2026, a minimum payment of $250 is required to confirm your booking with Globus. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 65 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
- Some departure dates and prices may vary and Globus will contact you with any discrepancies before your booking is confirmed.
- The following cards are accepted for "Globus" tours: Visa, Maestro, Mastercard, American Express or PayPal. TourRadar does NOT charge you an extra fee for using any of these payment methods.
Cancellation Policy
- Your money is safe with TourRadar, as we only pay the tour operator after your tour has departed.
- TourRadar is an authorized Agent of Globus. Please familiarize yourself with the Globus payment, cancellation and refund conditions.
