We don't include gratuities in our Europe tours. We have a guideline that guests receive upon booking, it is usually around 8-10 pounds per day, but it is up to the discretion of the passengers. Some people choose to tip more and some choose to tip less.

Why the arbitrary age cut-off? This is exactly the tour I want to take... with GLOBUS, the company of choice. And I am physically and mentally able to do whatever a 50 year old can do...

Our maximum age limit for many of our tours is 80 years of age, however, this is not etched in stone. If you are able to keep up with the activities, you are welcome to join at any age. We have minimum age limits because some of our tours have activities that smaller children cannot participate in.

Approximately how many miles do we walk each day? on what kind of terrain?

The majority of your walking will be when you go on the scheduled activities. You will cover the majority of your miles on the motor coach. The terrain will be on cobblestone and uneven pavements.

I'm looking into the Scenic Ireland tour for late May in 2024 and in the accommodations portion it simply states "As stated in Itinerary" but I have looked all over and it is not stated anywhere on the page. Would you be able to give me a list of the accommodations so I can review all of the information.

Hotels are confirmed approximately 30 days prior to departure. My husband has limited walking ability, but would love to take this tour. What is the amount of walking required?

Your husband can do as much walking as he is comfortable with. Some of the terrain will be quite rocky along the coastline. He is welcome to bring a wheelchair or walker if needed.

My traveling companion has very long legs. Will he be comfortable on your bus?

The motor coaches we use have lots of leg room. There is 22 inches between the seats. Motorcoaches have reclining seats, headrests, footrests, individual air vents, huge panoramic tinted windows which guarantee an unobstructed view, and a daily seat rotation that gives everyone a variety of views.

Is it possible for me to get a room to myself?

Yes, you will be able to get a room for yourself at an additional charge. Please contact us to arrange this.

I can't say enough about our Tour Guide, Carmel Nicholson and our Bus Driver, Gerry. I was impressed with how welcoming Carmel was to each of us in our tour group. She was delightful and personable. Caramel was unbelievably knowledgeable about every aspect on the history, geography/regions of Ireland and its people. Our tour group were all in agreement that we were so fortunate to have Carmel as our Tour Guide. It was really hard to say goodbye to Carmel and to Ireland. It was like saying goodbye to a long time friend or family member. Can't say enough about our Tour Guide, Gerry. Always felt very safe while he drove our bus. He was always available to assist us (passengers) on and off the bus. He made sure our luggage was placed on and off the bus. He took really good care of all of his passengers. He is one of a kind and carries a lot of responsibility!Show more
