As a retired (20 years career) Travel & Tourism educator and Certified France Destination Specialist, I think this tour has a comprehensive itinerary, ideal for people who want an all-over experience of the country in a somewhat short time , without the hassle of finding hotels, entrance tickets to many interesting venues such as the Loire châteaux, Lascaux, Padirac,Carrières de Lumières etc, which are usually hard to visit all in one trip on your own. BUT non-Spanish speakers must be prepared to be frustrated and feel neglected in spite of English-speaking guides present on the bus with the Spanish- speaking guides.. It will help tremendously to do your own research in advance about the cities/areas to be visited. Definitely geared toward Spanish and South American travelers! Also, it is more of a Hop-On-Hop-Off experience that is confusing, amost chaotic, some of the time. Groups split, stay in different hotels, some passengers leave at some point, some new others join the group, Guides also change at certain points, Spanish speakers are always long-winded( one spoke non-stop for one hour) and giving a lot of valuable cultural information, making jokes and telling anecdotes (I do not speak Spanish but understand, or try to, the general sense of the information given.) . After the location of interest is already way behind, comes a brief and incomplete ( sometimes even incorrect or mispronounced) English version.Show more

Our guides provide the main information in both Spanish and English, while personal questions from passengers are answered in the language spoken by the passenger. We regret if the English version seemed brief or incomplete; we always aim to balance the explanation time so that all passengers can follow along. As for group dynamics, guide changes, and passengers joining or leaving at different points, this is part of the flexibility of the tour, which allows each person to start or finish the trip where they prefer. This feature is clearly indicated before purchase and is a standard characteristic of these circuits. We appreciate your observations regarding the length of the Spanish explanations and the cultural information provided.
