This was a great tour! Our guide, Marlene, was incredibly knowledgeable about all of the places we visited and had an incredible grasp on the history of Ireland. She went out of her way to make sure that everyone had a fantastic trip. We also had nice group dynamics. I was surprised at how many places we were able to visit.Show more

Our overall experience was very positive and our guide Brendan was wonderful. The stops on the tour were as advertised, well run on time and covered a large amount of a country we'd never visited before. Our only not as positive experience would be with the Granville Hotel in Waterford. The food was not very good, the elevator was exceedingly tiny that you could barely have 2 people with suitcases in it, and the bathroom faucets are off the age that they're are separate spigots for hot and cold making it difficult to regulate temperatures as they were also not close enough to mix the water streams in the sink.Show more

This was our first guided tour. My wife and I usually plan our trips, and travel on our own. I wasn't sure how I would like this. I must say CIE surpassed all my expectations. Our tour guide Marlene went above and beyond to make everything work flawlessly. Our driver Martin was very professional and friendly. - For any tour departing before July 16th, 2026 a full payment is necessary. For tours departing after July 16th, 2026, a minimum payment of $250 is required to confirm your booking with CIE Tours. The final payment will be automatically charged to your credit card on the designated due date. The final payment of the remaining balance is required at least 75 days prior to the departure date of your tour. TourRadar never charges you a booking fee and will charge you in the stated currency.
