Dakar
You'll arrive in Senegal and get transferred to your hotel in Dakar. Once you're settled in, the rest of the day is yours to explore the city on your own terms. The capital has plenty of energy, so wandering around to get a feel for the place is a good way to shake off travel fatigue.

Dakar to Saint Louis
Heading out to Thies this morning to see the Art Tapestry National Gallery and watch artisan weavers doing their work. From there, you'll travel north through several villages, including a leather working community where you can see traditional crafts. Later in the day, you'll reach Saint Louis in time for jazz festival celebrations in the evening.

Landmarks Art Tapestry National Gallery - Day 3
Saint Louis - Richard Toll - Lac de Guiers
Starting the day with a drive through typical Senegalese villages on the way to Richard Toll, then continuing to Lake Guiers. You'll visit a Fulani village focused on sugar cane farming and have a picnic lunch by the lake. After that, you'll head back to Saint Louis to catch more jazz festival events before the sun sets.

Saint Louis - Rao - Dakar
Traveling through small villages to see the dramatic red sand dunes, then stopping at Rao's local market and the villages around it. You'll learn about the local school system and see how women are involved in farming and other income-generating activities. The evening includes jazz festival celebrations in Saint Louis before returning to Dakar for your last night.
